- David FDecember 3, 2016Great bar in the middle. Seating for food to the right. Room to the left with big screen for sport. Beer garden for summer, open fire for winter. The perfect pub!
- MaríaNovember 15, 2015Delicious and massive candlelit Sunday roast. They were kind enough to create a salmon variation for me - so don't be afraid to ask!
- KathrynJanuary 13, 2015If you're still around after Sunday dinner serving finishes, they put a big plate of leftover Yorkshire puddings at the bar to much on for free ;)
- HenrikJanuary 17, 2016Lively venue with a good selection of beers. The outside area is a great hangout place in summer.
- Liina HultgrenOctober 19, 2015Amazing pub food and nice selection of beers. Function area great when no sports are on
- Emily-janeSeptember 17, 2017Nice pub hidden amongst the houses, outdoor seating, really busy at the weekends, plays old skool r&b on a Friday night.
- O LJanuary 2, 2020Really nice pub. Amazing food, good beer selection, cosy vibe and also a great place to watch the football
- Cagdas KucukemirogluDecember 4, 2017Mushroom pie, breaded camembert cheese, chocolate fondant, all were good.
- Jessica YoungNovember 30, 2014Very cosy! Has a fireplace and a big screen for the football. Ladies, careful with the bathrooms - very easy to accidentally walk into the men's!
- Great local pub, lovely food, shows football and is dog friendly.
- Great pub! Got a nice homely atmosphere that you don't expect to find in London. Good food, although portions a bit small for the price. Bar staff sometimes act like they want to cause you an injury.
- jason pAugust 28, 2020There for the Nuno pop up. Food was incredible. Staff were overwhelmed and pretty amateur/unpleasant at times. Hopefully just learning curve
- Great beer garden for summer. Not much 'pub' in the pub though.Called the Scolt Head. NOT the Scolt's Head, thx.
- LondonistJune 3, 2012Voted the best pub in the Dalston area by our readers: http://londonist.com/2012/05/a-z-pub-crawl-the-best-pubs-in-dalston.php
- Cathy LeeJanuary 2, 2019Amazing food and beer selection! With luck, you may spot celebrities too...;)
- Banging pub for food and football. Get here early in the summer though as it gets very full in the day time.
- Absolutely the most beautiful beer garden in East London!
- Pulse RadioJanuary 3, 2012Great food. Nice selection of beer. Shows the football. Proper Boozer. What are the dials for though?
- LondonistJuly 30, 2010Splendid decor - a row of battered old Penguin classics, a box of dials from who know where? And epic amounts of seating.
- One of the best places to watch football in London. Good quiz on Mondays.
- Dertie BixonDecember 4, 2014Decent local serving quite a young hip crowd. Avoid at all costs on a Friday or Saturday night.
- Sue Sinton SmithOctober 13, 2010My favourite pub round here. Great beer garden and amazing paintings inside.
- Lovely pub, nice beer garden and pretty good food. However, staff manners leave more than a little to be desired.
- Good food, but expect a long wait if the kitchen is busy.
- Excellent huge bar snacks, love the scoth eggs and sausage rolls :)
