- Sylvie D.QrSeptember 5, 2012Seriously ?Great quality music always, proper British accents, and Miguel performing live ? AWESOME venue.
- IanAugust 24, 2013Book a table or two upstairs and enjoy the show. Nife atmosphere. Toilets are two floors below and a bit of a journey but it's all part of the ambience. If it was Smokey like the old days...:))
- Evening StandardMay 11, 2012The main floor is quite cramped, but perfectly set-up as a raucous big-band dance area; and there’s always the option of reserving a table on the restaurant balcony for a great view of the stage. Read more
- The Jazz Cafe is a brilliant place to see artists in a small and convivial venue. They've just done the place up and it looks pretty good too.Their food menu has also seen an upgrade.
- Emmett North JrFebruary 25, 2014I performed there in september 95'to a full house while debuting my album 'In The Zone' with my band 'Gallery of Groove',i enjoyed myself, many fans & friend came to hear us,Emmett North Jr.
- Hassan ElmiJanuary 4, 2015One of my favorite places on London because i am a jazz fan. Great area with alot of bsrs and restaurants
- Giacomo MasonMay 15, 2017They did a great jobe revamping this venue! It's really amazing now, good varied music and fun dj sets
- Paul HadfieldMarch 9, 2018Cool venue for jazz in London that gets top-notch artists, but is a more informal live space than somewhere like Ronnie Scott's.
- Mean FiddlerJune 24, 2011The venue used to be a Barclays Bank before being converted to a 7 night-a-week Jazz Club. If you dine in the restaurant before a show, try the Caribbean chicken. Delicious!
- The Jazz Cafe is a London Icon delivering a broad range of live music most nights of the week.
- hello_emilyFebruary 8, 2015Good music venue but get your drinking done before you get there. The selection of booze leaves much to be desired & the queues are bad.
- Lef GermenlisFebruary 14, 2017Great venue and helpful staff. If only the waiter wouldn't try to take my half finished glass every 30 seconds
- Damon BattenApril 24, 2015You can catch some amazing hip-hop here - people under the stairs and krs-one next month!
- Love CamdenOctober 18, 2010More than a home for some of London's best live music - also a great venue for a bite to eat during the day
- Ed WoodcockJanuary 16, 2017It's recently been done up. They've moved the bars to the edges, where it used to be right in the middle.
- Good food, cosy intimate venue. Get a table by the railing if you want a clear stage view.
- Andrew B.August 25, 2018Sometimes you can barely hear the music over the beer-hall hubbub of the crowd bantering amongst themselves.
- Lester KanFebruary 9, 2017What is there not to like about? Great music and reasonable prized drinks?
- Richard ClarkMay 7, 2010Love this place. Food is OK and atmosphere is great. Keep an eye out for special events. Seen some great acts over the years, including De La Soul and Jamiroqui
- Time Out LondonMarch 28, 2012Given its reputation, you wouldn’t think the Jazz Café was such a newbie on London’s music map, but the venue was only converted from a branch of Barclays in 1990. Read more
- Sean AnnandsinghDecember 18, 2009a great place to go for dinner, sweet music, food is so so, but atmosphere is toppa! always a good time to be had! book in advance...tickets sell out quickly! Read more
- Venesssa ByronJune 22, 2011My Fav venue for live music in London, intimate cool vibe... Where I first met Melanie Fiona in person : )
- Junior HamerNovember 15, 2011I have seen loads of soul and jazz funk artists there. It my local venue
- Chris WhealJuly 12, 2014No real beer. Guinness was £4.50 until about 8.30, when they ran out. Newcastle Brown was £4.70. Then Guinness came back on at £4.90 a pint. Great sound but stupidly pricey poor service and beer.
- Chris SharpMarch 6, 2010First time at Jazz cafe, Blackalicious played, really nice intimate venue with good vibes. Good Dj's too ;)
- Rob TAugust 17, 2011Being short, I wander off to the right of the stage where there are usually less people to look past
- Shahid ChoudhryJune 6, 2010Really intimate Jazz venue, have enjoyed some memorable concerts here, Taha Rachid, Souad Massi, Trilok Gurtu etc
- Lewis BakerJuly 22, 2010Be careful when you book tickets for a show because they let far too many people into the venue!
- Nate van der EndeSeptember 19, 2012Drinks are incredibly over-priced, bar staff is awful and the venue is average. Unless someone great is playing, don't bother.
- Luis ShimabukuroDecember 29, 2014Lugar para ver ótimos shows, seja de jazz, soul, reggae! Como não é muito grande você fica muito perto do palco!
