- Suzanne CarterAugust 25, 2013Go right at sunset (so that the majority of your dinner takes place after dark). Reserve a table outside, you'll eat by candlelight and be offered blankets. Great atmosphere!
- Cole PotrockySeptember 13, 2020The two course prix fixe is ~40 per course. For a similar amount of money per course you could get a 7 course tasting menu at eleven madison park in NYC. Is a beach worth three fewer Michelin stars?
- Annika K. MartinAugust 27, 2014A perennial go-to lunch spot: beautiful ambience right on the beach, with the breeze blowing through and a delicious and varied menu of lighter and heavier bites.

- Mike SMarch 27, 2010Hands down coolest bar in Nantucket. Get a fresh mojito and watch the lopping waves gently come ashore. Don't leave island without a lunch here!!
- Andrea BarrezuetaJuly 26, 2017Yes it's expensive but it's a beautiful space that's perfectly manicured and has the best sunsets
- Time it right for sunset and sit out on the sand. Extensive wine list. Scallops are excellent.
- VERY slow service--got entrees 2.5 hours after being seated. Food was good, but way overpriced. Have drinks here for the sunset (amazing location, great bar), then go into town for dinner.

- Mary HaleyAugust 2, 2012Galley Beach, offers hands down, the most superb dining experience on the island.
- Used to be great but menu hasn't changed in years, Opened beach bar to attract hordes more people who will pay outrageous prices. Not worth it. Okay for a drink and appetizer on the beach.
- Very expensive. Dinner not as good as it used to be. Good for drinks or a fancy lunch.
- Booze. On the beach. Seriously, can you get any better than that?
