Everything is amazing. Good simple Italian food. HUGE wine selection. Fun-casual-formal environment. You can't go wrong. Perfect for dates, business meals, and get-together's.
Highly recommend Veal Scallopini (served original way), the Branzino was so amazing & flaky/crispy, the White corn ravioli w/ black truffles was so rich & delicious! Chocsoufflé & volcano for dessert
Stand out dish from the tasting menu: white corn ravioli with shaved truffles. I'd also recommend the Maryland crab torta, duck sliderfoie gras, heirloom tomato salad and flourless chocolate soufflé.
Cheap it ain't, but Santa Monica's oceanside Italian crown jewel is a serious pleasure. A focus on grilled market offerings and their deep wine list is strongly encouraged. [Eater 38 Member]
the branzino which was lovely cooked in the wood oven/ corntruffleravioli, which was fine...not as amazing as other reviews say. glasses of wine...$35-45 for a glass is normal. Ouch.
The White Corn Ravioli with black truffles is ridiculous good. When white truffles are in season you can get that shaved on top(for a large price, but well worth it).
Best for prime cuts of steak, pizza from a woodburning oven and lobster risotto. They also house one of the most impressive new world wine lists in town.
