- Jetset ExtraMarch 6, 2014On another night in the city we ventured over to see the incredible holiday light show at the VanDusen Botanical Garden. It was pretty spectacular with its many lights and paths to wander through. Read more
- RTWgirl ArnetteAugust 23, 2015A gorgeous botanical garden in the centre of Vancouver. You would never know what is behind its doors. Plants and flowers from all over the world and even a maze!!
- Eliot HongDecember 24, 2011Dress warmly! Parking is limited, and streets around are the most ideal place to do so if you arrive late. Show up early, 15-30 mins prior to opening to avoid the line, or purchase ahead of time.
- Gabriella SchmidtAugust 2, 2020What a hidden gem in the middle of the city. Put on your walking shoes as it is 55 acres big! The Shaughnessy Restaurant has a special drink offer for those who have paid admission to the gardens.
- Cam_in_BrisNovember 14, 2022A beautifully kept park - lots of diversity in the gardens; signage is well thought out; a peaceful place to visit. The maze is cool 🌲🌲🌲
- Billy AmpDecember 31, 2015A must see during Christmas time! This garden is lit up like a Christmas Tree...like for reals!
- Natalie CheungApril 8, 2013If you're here for the cherry blossom festival..I suggest u just go on any other streets in Vancouver.. there's not much Sakura trees in vandusen.. but the festival is a lot of fun itself!:)
- Lloyd BagtasNovember 19, 2013A 55-acre eco-cocoon of 255,000 individual plants from around the world. Don’t miss the hedge maze. See if you can get to the monkey puzzle tree in the middle.
- BeA K.December 26, 2018Have your hats scarves and gloves ready before exploring this awesome garden.
- Chelsea MCDecember 24, 2014Buy your tickets ahead of time if possible - saves a lot of time in the busy holiday season!
- Dennis H.December 29, 2010Beautiful time with the family. Dress warmly (toque, mitts, and boots). Dancing lights are very neat. Parking is a bit of a nightmare and it is very crowded.
- Weeknights are peaceful here, a beautiful little getaway :) open till 9p in the summer months.
- 90% less crowded comparing with QE park; well worth the entrance fee.
- Henry ArmitageApril 14, 2013There is a Geocache to find somewhere in the Garden. Details: http://coord.info/GCPDEG
- The lotus are just starting to bloom. Good time for photographing them
- Z HeFebruary 12, 2016Kind of unfair to not allow dogs and the staff said because it's a private park?
- DougMay 19, 2013Terrible signage & map. Cart tours for handicapped only at 1, 2 & 3pm. No mention on website. Apathetic staff at Admissions counter. There was auto show, had to move off path for cars & exhaust fumes.
