Asian influences show up in Grosz's treatment of scallops, which can be had as thin sashimi slices, along with yuzu marmalade and scatterings of pomegranate, dragon fruit and arugula. Read more

Try the Wild Maine Day Boat Scallops - Truly amazing. This is one of Oceanique's signature dishes for good reason. Perfect in every way.

Try the Roasted Virginia Misty Point Oysters - I love oysters and the preparation was fabulous. Order came with four oysters!

Food, Wine, Service is top notch. Expect $$$$ Spend. But Worth every penny. Was treated like royalty even the few crumbs left on my plate felt special!

Try the Napoleon - Loved it. Boot to sweet. Paired with Chateau Les Roques Loupiac 2009 so worth remembering....

Perfect dinner:food, service, wine, presentation, ironed white table cloths and $21 lobster (prepared!) on Wednesdays. Celebrating 21 years. Only qualm qualm is about the decor, also 21 years old.

Very good food, although overpriced. Both the tuna and filet were very good. Extensive wine selection. A distinct odor (cleaning fluid?) lingered the entire evening which was disappointing.

Probably the best restaurant list in Evanston, with a strong selection of big-time French wines, among many others. Their "half glass" pours are VERY generous. Free corkage on Mondays.
