Finding the perfect bowl of ramen is something of a Vancouver obsession and you may find yours here. Prepare to queue at this tiny hole in the wall joint in the West End. [Eater 38 Member]

try: nama shoyu (with unpasteurized soy sauce) ramen with optional burnt onion oil, or the bamboo-charcoal dark miso ramen. (The charcoal is said to be good for digestion, skin, and anti-aging.)

The Dark Miso Ramen (w/ bamboo charcoal) is flavourful bowl to try. :) Deeper miso flavour will almost feel a slight sharp at first sip. Yum. :)

Authentic japanese noodle place. Good ramen and good service. Gyoza was pretty good, too. Rent a bike at one block from here and go cycling at Stanley park then finish w/ ramen lunch.

Shio ramen is a bit on the salty side. But then again I always preferred miso ramen.

La comida está bien. Las sillas y mesas son mega incómodas. Hacía frío adentro. No sé si regresaría.
