Rustic Italian comfort food so damn comforting elastic-waisted apparel is recommended. Must-try item: the pork ragu tagliatelle. More heart-warming than a Frank Capra marathon. [Eater 38 Member]

Sooo good - the chickpeas, freshest pizza and pasta, and so reasonable! We always get the family style menu - there are so many good things to try, it's the way to go!

Excellent pasta! The tagliatelle is to die for! The gnudi is okay, with a good olive tapenade on top. Pretty decent wine selection!

For lunch try the one of Chef Alvin Pillay's delicious piadine porchetta with a Frangelico and chocolate tart. For dinner try a hard-to-find Menabrea beer, flank steak with salsa verde or tagliarini. Read more

The "crispy ceci" - the chickpeas, are legendary. You never realized that you liked chickpeas so much! The pizza are also excellent - my pick is the Salsiccia with the fennel sausage.

Simplicity takes skill: For starters try the grilled octopus and albacore tuna crudo w/ panzanella tomato salad. For a main, the Sloping Hill pork roast will have you tasting the essence of Italy. Read more

Try the grappas - if your only experience of grappa is akin to lighter fuel, you'll be amazed at the subtleties of flavours

The tagliatelle with pork ragu is stupendous. If you like well-executed, simple Italian fare, check this joint out.

For large parties over over six, I'd recommend booking a big table in the back area. It's cozier and gets great light during the day.

Chickpeas were amazing. Tagliatelle was very dry, disappointing after reading so many good reviews. Pizza had a good crust but arugula was actually mixed greens. Gnocchi was way too soft - mushy even.

They changed it to Tagliatelle now, but still with the pork ragu. Get the large portion and save some for lunch the next day.

Had lunch here and our server wasn't very good. She came by once to see how our appetizers were but never came back. Took about an hour for our mains. Discount was nice, but won't be returning
