- Serious EatsSeptember 18, 2013Besides serving pizzas, pastas, and suckling pig, Scampo at the Liberty Hotel is Lydia Shire's current venue for showing off the kinds of whimsical breads she dreamed up years ago at Biba.
- AmateurConciergeJanuary 18, 2017Buzzy Italian spot in the lobby of the Liberty is great for groups or if you just want some really solid Italian. Mozz and breads and pasta is unsurprisingly the focus
- Grant HodgdonMay 23, 2015Trendy. Nice drinks, normal pours. Sexy young people. Great food menu. Full menu till 11 pizza menu till 12. Beef sticks and tunna tartar was awesome. They also have bacon and white clam pizza !
- Jessica ChanDecember 1, 2013I am typically skeptical of hotel restaurants but Scampo is really great. Sit at the chefs bar - fun to watch them make your pizza! Great vibe, even better food.
- Be sure to sit at the mozzarella bar and watch the kitchen work their magic! They are a great staff and live to make new friends! It will make your dining experience that much more memorable.
- Alexa Jane BrooksSeptember 22, 2014The food here is high quality, inventive, and wildly tasty. Be sure to check out the gluten free menu too.
- One of the best places to eat in Boston especially if you like Italian. Whole roasted baby lamb special is out of this world!
- Laurie DennessAugust 18, 2016You could quite easily fill up on the delicious breads and mozzarella bar.. all the food we tried was great.
- David SteinbergerApril 19, 2015Yeah, the lobster pizza was the bomb, with a surprisingly generous amount of lobster. Garlic bread was good. Tandoori scallops also a hit.
- Shreya ChaudhariAugust 19, 2014One of the top 100 Italian restaurants very delicious garlic bread that is roasted over coals also the margarita pizza is delicious!
- Søren Thinggaard HansenNovember 20, 2015The beef is great..well all the dishes I have had here are great.
- Vanessa GatlinFebruary 16, 2014(Best of Boston 2013-GLUTEN-FREE) Improper Bostonian says, "Who would have thought that Scampo would not only provide a gluten-free menu but deliver one that doesn't smack of compromise?"
- Jules FalconMarch 25, 2015There is actually an equally good, if not better restaurant one floor up the Liberty hotel called Clink. Why Scampo is more popular, I will never know
- Ron OppenheimAugust 7, 2014They have a section on their menu dedicated solely to mozzarella. Enough said.
- Melissa F.June 27, 2012Fantastic wine list. Get the prosciutto and arugula pizza it's sweet and salty
- Steve QuigleyJune 21, 2010Fathers Day brunch at Scampo. Great. Excellent service. Creative menu. Wasn't sure about the lobster sausage...but...excellent.
- Amy WilsonOctober 25, 2014Dislike! Blaring out awful pop music. Really gauche. ID'd by the waiter (I'm 29) then given a lecture about how she shouldn't take my UK driver license. (I'm a guest at hotel). AWFUL, no thanks!
