Cody L.October 17, 2019It’s empty here. I didn’t have to wait in line at all to check in and get my boarding pass. TSA was quick and effective. There aren’t any good food options though and the terminal is pretty boring.Upvoted 3 days ago
Leach E. E.April 6, 2017Main gripe is the constant piped music and nowhere quiet to sit. There's currently a hole in the roof at Gate 3, where the constant drip noise is additional form of aural torture.

Azad PandahugMay 1, 2012For much faster check-in, face the windows next to the street and proceed to the right and use the computer kiosks at the front far end of the terminal.
Vino Volo moved to across from Gate 39. Great place to hang and have a glass of wine while waiting for your flight.
Great building! Make sure you go to the proper concourse for your flight though.

Lots of dining places closed in term 8 from Covid. Slowly re-opening, as new restaurants. Restaurant rents are $$$$$

PuBtasticNovember 27, 2022By far the worst terminal. No centurion or priority pass lounges. So if you don’t have the highest tier of American then no lounge access. Terminal looks like from the zombie age. YUCK

If on a domestic flight and using the AirTrain, use the Self Check-in Kiosk located in the hallway prior to taking the escalators to Ticketing Security and Departure Gates.

Ross SheingoldJune 18, 2011If you're at Gates 1 through 5 and you plan on grabbing some food before your flight, do it on the way to the gate after security. Otherwise, it is a LONG walk back.

Edward RoskeMarch 24, 2010First class and priority check in (and the premium passenger TSA line) are to the left. Go left and avoid having to mingle with the people sitting in steerage.
Trying to find inexpensive, cheap and decent food is impossible.
The walk to customs from many of the int'l gates is LONG, and the moving walkways don't work, so you'll have to hoof it. #yay

For sure grab something before coming to the other side...there isn't anything worth wasting your time or money on.
