- Shari GaleOctober 31, 2012My favorite market. I will have to come back to this one through the coming years. Like the downtown grocery store in La Jolla that I always go back to.Upvoted Mar 18
- Neal RAugust 22, 2014Sangak is the best in Irvine. Take-away food is pretty good, too. Also they have an extensive selection of middle-eastern sweets.
- You will get Halal meat here..! Also, the price is low compared to other grocery stores. You can buy food including Indian and Arabian dishes..!
- Eric LiboironAugust 14, 2021What an amazing place for the ready made dishes. Such an amazing selection at great prices and huge servings!
- Kooshi IraniNovember 7, 2010Awesome Ghormesabzi! If you don't know what it is, just try it then you'd be a believer too. :)
- Make sure to grab a basket or cart to hold the fresh sangak. It's hot! And delicious!
- Lucian FogorosApril 21, 2013The sesame bread ( fresh sangak) is awesome. Definetely worth the 5 min wait
- David RAugust 11, 2018Candy, the short female supervisor at cashiers section is RUDE, unprofessional and a smirking cheap, incapable of handling any small situation and only knows how to be rude and cause scenes.
- Akiko IAugust 10, 2014Great middle eastern supermarket. Good meat section, fresh lavash, cheap fresh produce, n good food court!
- Fruits and veggies are the cheapest in OC. Never go to a chain supermarket for that stuff.
- Best Gyros in town. Thai chicken salad is great too. Make sure to get a pecan tart too. Outstanding. Oh yeah, and can't beat their price on Gnarly Head wines.
- Jill NelkeJanuary 10, 2017Can't wait to go back to this store for more exploring! Loved the selection.
- Good, clean, healthy choice of food available. From Lebanese to Indian to Persian
- 5% student discount for broke college kids. Or adults who still have their student ID.
- If you're interested in a dalliance away from Sangak bread, cruise their bread aisle. They stock exceptional local (LA/OC) pitas/lavash/armenian breads/challah etc.
- Talent Education Center: Suzuki ViolinMarch 23, 2015This is where I get my Cardamom fix. International seasons and ingredients? Look here first.
- Melanie MAugust 16, 2018It's ok. Sometimes the meat doesn't smell very fresh. Prices vary a lot. The produce is ok, but the produce area is packed out with people usually.
- Their Empire boneless/skinless chicken breasts are cheaper than Trader Joes'. They don't stock organic.
- Sacha BrooksJanuary 26, 2011Sangak straight of the oven - Yum! Great value to be found in the produce department and the food court
- Be careful when you walk in, shopper traffic is busy! Especially after 6pm
- Why is it when a place becomes successful, it's their customer service that goes down the tube? Sad. I used to come here every week, now months go by.
- The line for warm sangak = worth it.Call in for Persian food (skip the wait).
