The soup dumplings and shrimp dumplings were good but I could get those anywhere in Chinatown. The beancurd dumplings will be worth coming back uptown for

Try the golden tofu with house-made pickled veggie & edamame beans. Seriously no regret & vegetarian friendly. One of best selling dishes.

Waiters in bow ties and tuxedos, wood paneled interior, wine bar, lunch time chatter - this Shanghainese restaurant is good for business lunches.

The wrappers on the soup dumplings here lean on the thicker side and come 6 to a set.

When you order an entree, yummy free complimentary apps are given: pickled radishes/carrots, salty cucumbers & peanuts, or seaweed! ;9

The dim sum is very good, I was impressed. However, they are not good at allergies, they had seafood in dishes and it wasn’t on the menu. Be careful eating here if you have seafood allergies.

As per this 1/2-Shanghai & Cantonese gal, you only have to go to (& pay) midtown for decent (the best is in C-town!) crabmeat soup dumplings

Much more like it! These soup dumplings are small but really soupy and flavorful. A bit pricy though 💲💲💲

Restaurant is large and good for groups. Slightly pricier than Chinatown restaurants, but service is marginally better. They charge for "premium" tea and white rice, so beware.

Service during lunch was terrible. The staff kept bringing random dishes to our table in the hopes one of us ordered it. One of our party had to wait almost 45 minutes for her food!
