- Jennifer PapaMay 29, 2014Been here a few times and the food is always delicious...especially the gnudi and the meatballs. The service is great as well, even when I was there on new years eve.
- Priya SaiprasadJune 17, 2013Perfect spot for brunch on a sunny day. I recommend the corn custard & the soft shell crab apps, the gnudi, the funghi pizza and both the panna cotta and tiramisu! The wine selection is great as well.
- JKAugust 5, 2021Speciality includes Kale salad with pear, persimmon, walnuts, and buffalo ricotta, Ficchi pizza with black Mission figs, pancetta, and gorgonzola & Lemon mousse with meringue and pistachio
- Tom McGhanMay 10, 2011The Polpo sports crunchy-yet-buttery confit'd pork belly chunks, accompanied by perfectly cooked octopus, all topped with a poached egg. It was one of the best things I had in Sausalito. Get it.
- Taylor BeggsOctober 5, 2013I featured Poggio on my latest blog post: Taylor’s Best of Marin: Top 10 Must Eat Meals Before You Die! See what meal was my favorite and feel free to comment and let me know if you agree or disagree! Read more
- Mike NadelmanJune 27, 2012Sit at the bar. Have BFast Toasties with the best stuff inside and fresh fruit. Forget parking if you cruise in by boat and see the new yacht sales crew across the street.
- Tony is the sweetest thing in this restaurant. He's funny and charming! Everyone is so nice and friendly too :) The food is good. I heart Poggio.
- Anna MorenoJuly 24, 2016Great food, service and Marina view. Pizza is delicious and other dishes as well.
- The lamb meatballs are a musthave starter. The gnocchi and gnudi are perfect in texture and light, fluffy. Meatlovers will want to share the bisteca and don't overlook the dessert menu.
- Mike NadelmanJuly 9, 2012Porterhouse Steak for 2 - 4 inches thick. It was not on the menu but was an excellent suggestion. This was the only warm spot around the bay on Sunday.
- Alice FerrisJune 23, 2012Try the Spaghetti With Shrimp - Salmon Roe spaghetti with shrimp, tomato, garlic and parsley: son ordered this and it was my fave
- T ZAugust 24, 2019Got the spinach gnocchi (7/10). Potatoes were decent (7/10). Probably not worth the price. Have had better Italian. Surprised this has a Michelin star.
- Sanjive KhoslaSeptember 18, 2010Beautiful little restaurant overlooking the port. Try the Alaskan Halibut and the chocolate desert (I forget the name) which is to die for!
- Alice FerrisJune 23, 2012Try the Polpo - roasted octopus with pork belly confit, potato, frisee and a poached egg
- Charles WAugust 30, 2014The pizzas are very good. The Margherita is my favorite. Huey Lewis in the house.
- Tessa TurnerFebruary 10, 2011Very fresh, creative and seasonal daily changing menu. Service was informative and timely. Dessert was excellent as well :)
- Alice FerrisJune 23, 2012Try the Rigatoni With Sausage - house made pork fennel sausage, broccoli rabe, chile, pecorino
- Great food and one of the best soups till today. The margharita pizza was nice too. 7/10
- L VVMarch 12, 2011The Polpo is fantastic! Also, sit outside if it's nice.. Even if there is a chill! There are heaters above the outside tables.
- Stacie GDecember 17, 2009at poggio have the yukon gold potato gnocchi. YUM. And the butter's amazing & it's Challenge - you could buy it yourself.
- Thaisa LemosMay 30, 2013Food is ok, portions are too small (we couldn't differentiate between small and regular portions. Either they tricked us or...) and service is terrible. You're better off any where other than here.
- When it's cold outside please close the doors Poggio! It's freezing in here
