- Dan CaseyMay 2, 2013Great hotel especially for the price. Near Moscone center, shopping and food. Staff is on the ball and I've always had a good stay. If you are a light sleeper be prepared to hear the city.
- Comfy beds, best to make a pillow fort. Leo the bellman is awesome & will hook you up! He likes to fist pump, ask him to do the jelly fish..
- Steve VFebruary 12, 2016Great value given the location.. Spotless newly reno'd bathroom, comfy bed, but a fresh coat of paint and new elevators could go a long way in freshening up the place
- Paul PersaudAugust 15, 2012Shabby on the outside, really nice and upgraded on the inside. Free WiFi, underground parking, big rooms with two queens and plenty of extra space for <$150
- Reasonable prices, close to a good mall and nice stores. Besides its location ia amazing to enjoy what SFO has to offer.
- Close to a lot of nice restaurants. Head over to Blue Bottle (if you can find it) for some delicious coffee. About a minute walk from the hotel.
- ThreedukesApril 10, 2016Look for deals on room rates. Great location (SoMa, near Union Square, off freeway-linked street, mall) and decent rooms. Staff is not quite keeping up with wear & tear, but still nice.
- Duane Leinninger IISeptember 2, 2011Although a bit more aged than some other hotels, Pickwick is a 5 minute walk to Moscone and a good deal. Great beds, shower works great and free wi-fi!
- Linda LeNovember 14, 2022Bring some ear plugs, the walls are thin and you can hear everything (e.g nonstop techno music from the venue next door).
- PoojaSeptember 3, 2015Awful interiors. Old. Falling apart sort of feel. Service is decent and people who work here do their best, but management expects exorbitant room rates taking advantage of the great location. Skip.
- Make sure u get a room with nice view and try NOT to have 'em exactly located behind the lift.BTW this is a good hotel.highly recommended
- Ines ObtinallaJuly 2, 2013Free wifi. Building is old but our room was clean and comfortable. Was able to get 2 double beds for $95/night.
- Gary LakeApril 23, 2013Conflicting info. Has ties to Maltese Falcon. Not sure if it was one of the locations in the novel, movie or both. If you like older nostalgic hotels this is the place for you. Felt like a B&W movie.
- Baki BastosApril 4, 2011Friendly customer service and great location if your hitting up the moscone convention center. Recommend a party of 2 only per room though.
- Ian Taylor TrekkingMarch 17, 2013Good set up, cheap for California and good location. Onward to Santa Cruz.
- Marcel ȘendreaMarch 22, 2017Wifi goes down every 10 minutes, not to mention slow speed. Room service stop the elevator and get in with stinky things...Dont bother to salute the counter people they always have a pocker face.
- J mFebruary 16, 2011Used hotels.com to book room. Randy at front desk upgraded me to 8th floor. Awesome mini suite. Thanks Randy!
- Decent lodging. Poor service at the desk, but cleaning staff incredibly friendly.
- Tomas Jr PollosoMay 18, 2016It's cozy and comfortable, with very courteous and attentive staff and very near Moscone Convention Center. The only problem is the water during shower, it just stop sometimes.
- Konstantin SakhinApril 5, 2014You may face with horribly slow WiFi in the room that works from time to time
- Josh SpearJanuary 28, 2012If you have a car bigger than a Toyota truck it's double the price of a regular car! Wtf
- Mark RockettApril 8, 2013This place has cable/satellite but they does not offer ESPN. Seriously? I cannot beleive this.
- Jeff DarrowJuly 27, 2010Great location, wouldn't stay here again. Customer Service was poor, rooms were small and outdated, and we paid for 2 beds and got 1 queen and a bed on wheels.
