- Roy BrittonDecember 2, 2016What a great place. Nice atmosphere. Bought a 21 year scotch to celebrate a good night for me. They had a decent pulled pork sandwich too
- Amazing establishment. Fabulous bourbon selection, great happy hour, attentive staff. Go, just go and enjoy yourself.
- Don NunnNovember 10, 2014Excellent happy hour (4-7 Mon-Sat, all day Sun) and trivia night Sunday 9pm. Try the special manhattans and old fashioneds, they're excellent recipes.
- Al SJanuary 19, 2017The impressive bourbon list is obviously the main draw here, but the food is also unique and inspired. Order something to eat with your drink. You won't regret it.
- This is, in my opinion, the best bar I've found thus far in Portland. It's smallish and intimate, classy, fun, upbeat, yet laid back. Plus the bartenders really know their craft. Get the Manhattan!
- Enrique Gutiérrez ArzateSeptember 22, 2016Happy hour from 4-7. One of the few that has happy hour until 7. Great drinks
- Zoe van HavreMay 15, 2018There is more than one cocktail menu, make sure you see the full list!! Say yes to the pulled pork mac&cheese, it's glorious... Just glorious
- Alex SandraMay 10, 2014I don't know if it's because it's Friday night, but this place is filled with the bridge and tunnel crowd. It's worth it for the best mint juleps in town!
- Just a lovely casual yet classy lounge with a top notch whiskey list. Excellent atmosphere especially for a warm night on the patio.
- Makenzie MarineauJune 18, 2013One of the only happy hours that goes until 7pm that I've been able to find in NW, and great happy hour portions on food.
- Dustyn KeepersJuly 27, 2015Great whiskey selection and cocktail list along with a great chill atmosphere. So glad we found this place!
- Darrin QuillenJanuary 11, 2012In the old Brazen Bean location, they know their whiskey and how to combine it with other flavors. From standbys to new cocktails, excellent craftsmanship.
- Knowledgeable staff. Intimate atmosphere. Clean restrooms. Try downstairs when open. Good bourbon, of course.
- Loren WertzJuly 14, 2013Mmmmm...Lagavulin. This place seems pretty relaxed and the staff were super friendly. The happy hour mac-n-cheese was great.
- Kristina CashmanJanuary 26, 2014Go upstairs not down for friendly service. Feels like 2 different places. Down I wouldn't go back. Up is a new fave. Sierra is the BEST
- Aishwarya RaghavanJuly 7, 2018Super classy place. Just don’t sit at the bar. It smells of fat from frying French fries
- Thomas Favre-BulleMarch 9, 2015Cheap beer and whiskey combos. Great place, in an old Portland house.
- Ask the barkeep, they always have good suggestions. My new favorite is the Black Maple Hill Small Bath
- Whit BreedenMay 23, 2016Happy hour all day on Monday, not Sunday which is the worst thing about this spectacular whiskey lounge in NW.
- Two words: Death and Company. Okay, technically three words, but seriously, that drink is amazing. Check it out and off!
- amanda sauseJanuary 10, 2013Waitress was not very helpful but the whiskey was worth if! Try the "flights" to test out different varieties.
- Cam CrossApril 15, 2013There are several price tiers for all the different bourbons. Try Four Roses neat for $7. The cocktails are just OK.
- Try the Louisville Hot Brown & don't forget the ice cream...it's AMAZING!! http://wweek.com/editorial/3638/14320/
