Nick HsslgrvJuly 4, 2017The Barnacle is a no frills crab shack. Great views on the water, cold beer, and fantastic fresh shellfish. Sit on the porch and DO NOT order anything other than shellfish.
The Landing has better food, but the Barnacle has better views, especially when there's a winter Nor'easter and you can stay cozy inside with chowder and a Harpoon, watching the waves.

Sitting outside and viewing the harbor with some beer and oysters is the best thing about the place.

The Barnacle is awesome when a storm is rolling in and the waves crash over the front of the restaurant. Great view!
