- Behrad EatsMay 6, 2015The burgers here are amazing! Try the Slav - Korzo 'Fried' Burger: fresh ground beef patty, slow-braised pork neck, house sauerkraut, caraway seeds, juniper berries, and Bryndza.
- Stuart AdlerMarch 4, 2014I would say this place is more of a (delicious) restaurant than a bar. Great Hungarian/ Polish staples and great German beers. FYI- the $5 Goulash tip is for the soup; it is not a bargain restaurant.
- The slav burger and beet salad are my favorites. The bartenders are pretty cool too. I'd recommend going on warmer days when they have the front open and the communal table.
- William JohnsonSeptember 5, 2016Married to a Slovakian and can confirm this place is the real deal. There isn't a bad thing on the menu, I would encourage you to try. Burger is what they are famous for but go deeper!
- PatrickSeptember 26, 2018I have lived in 7 countries, 2 continents & travelled the world. One of the 3 best burgers in my life. Great selection of beers & friendly staff. A Brooklyn must.
- IrmaZandl ZandlSlantMarch 7, 2015Very friendly service, good food - humongous portions! My fave: pirogis - really delicious! Most main dishes are big enough for 2.
- Emiliano ViscarraDecember 28, 2015One of my favorite burgers in NYC. This place has closed now and you need to go to the Brooklyn one. It's a must. The stuffed burger options are amazing.
- Margot MazurAugust 14, 2014They can make vegan burgers and are really attentive to plant based diets. Plus--huuuuge beer list that is fantastic. Get the sweet potato fries with beet ketchup.
- LukeJuly 24, 2016The "fried" burger is an amazing meat pie hybrid that will make you wonder why all burgers are not made this way. Screw your brioche bun. Screw your sesame bun. Fried burgers are future
- Delicious food. Large Czech and German beers. Closest you'll get to Prague without taking a flight.
- Howard WalfishFebruary 25, 2015Great beer selection and surprisingly good vegetarian options for an Eastern European place. Pierogis with mushroom cream sauce are good, latkes are even better.
- Lindsay DugganJanuary 1, 2013Great brunch food! Understaffed, so there will be a wait but the dishes are worth it. Try the hash or the latkes and make sure to ask for their homemade hot sauce.
- GothamistJune 6, 2012Mittel-European comfort food (think fried cheese, fried burgers), with a $5 goulash on Mondays.Pro tip: Unlimited bloody Mary's or mimosas during brunch! A dying offer here in NYC.
- Angela HuJune 26, 2013oh my. Not sure to rave about the mouth-watering burgers or the equally as tasty blood Mary's. $9 unlimited for brunch -- sit by the door + people watch. Tis a wonder.
- David MortensenJuly 16, 2019Calling them “burgers” is a gross error. They are the best tasting meat-filled fried buns I’ve ever tasted—anywhere! Can’t wait to come back👍
- David HoltzAugust 26, 2016Expensive, but delicious. The Chef Burger is one of the best burgers I've ever had! Gotta try it.
- NearSay NYCJuly 22, 2011Looking for something both unique and oh so flavorful? Korzo burgers will take your taste buds on a journey of deep fried goodness! We also suggest their Korzo Organic Ale. Very crisp and refreshing
- Ellie RMarch 17, 2018Goulash, burger and Maria kreme’s were all excellent!!! Super authentic. 3 dollar mimosas at brunch 🤗
- Eddie JonesDecember 11, 2016Fried burger, do I need to say more. The original is my favorite, but I've never had anything bad here.
- Jason KAugust 15, 2014The deep fried burger is the specialty, but the mussels were great. Good beer selection too.
- Jett GalindoSeptember 9, 2014Homey ambience. Their fried korzo burgers are amazing and doesn't taste greasy. Their creme brulee is also my favorite.
- Burgerspotting .seNovember 11, 2014Far from a classic burger but totally awesome nonetheless. The "Otto burger" is my favorite. Rating 9 out of 10.
- Rock RainesJuly 14, 2019Burger duh but the brunch is on point too and not to crowded if you go on the later end!
- MichaelMay 22, 2014Diamond in the rough. Mussels & pork were tasty. Burger was above average (although their medium was a little towards the well side)
- Nicholas DoyleFebruary 1, 2012House made dumplings, grass fed beef, and an organic house beer brewed in cooperation with Peak Organic. You're not here yet. Can you forgive yourself?
- Jason StruckDecember 28, 2014Great service, cool beers on draft, Slovak food. Brunch is great and family friendly.
- Shaun Tollerton ⚡️January 9, 2015The beef goulash was insanely good, especially on a cold winter's evening.
- Grace MaDecember 31, 2016burgers are definitely well made, but not worth a 30 min+ wait in my opinion; fav are the chef & the slav, the original was OK; service was extremely slow, almost unbearable, not likely to return
- Harish HoonDecember 7, 2014At the East Village location (which is now closed) these guys served the best burgers in the city.
- Jess MireauJanuary 16, 2016The burgers are all wonderful. Brunch is tasty too but can skew a bit heavy.
- Gonzalo FiorinaNovember 14, 2014Great fried burgers, but everything looks delicious. Worth trying out.
- Vegetarian? Get the fried beet burger. It's absolutely amazing.
- MarcApril 26, 2013The Korzo Burger is featured on Eater's 2013 Ultimate Burger Bracket, FancyPants Divison
- Korzo burger is worth the hype. Great food all around.
- Kev SkinnyAugust 14, 2014Deep fried burger is an experience. Other menu items were mediocre and very heavy. Still give it a go. Its something different then you have ever had.
