- Julie FApril 28, 2013Ridiculously tasty food. Good for families with babies and small children. They bring all babies and kids a small bowl of strawberries, banana slices and dried cherries when you get seated :)
- SaraMarch 3, 2013Try crab cakes w poached eggs. The salad it comes w has a blend of berries and fresh veggies. Try bread pudding- great combo of all fresh ingredients! Will def b back again, but NEVER on weekends :-)
- Fannie's Killer Fried Egg sandwich, Huevos Barrachos & Latina Omeletta are kick-ass savory dishes. You can't go wrong with French Toast or hotcakes. Start with & share a bread pudding. BYO(champagne).

- Birds-in-a-basket with brioche, cheese & chives is delicious! The Vegan Epiphany is a great dish. Personal favorites are the Latina Omeletta and the Fried Egg Sandwich.
- Vegan Epiphany is fantastic if you're looking for a good vegan brunch, for gluten free I recommend the GF peanut butter cookies that are in the bakery as well!
- lisaDecember 12, 2017Fantastic! Loved all the options. I️ was sad there wasn’t more room in my belly
- Everything is good here, BUT Fannie’s Killer Fried Egg Sandwich was killer. The Gorgonzola, bacon, and thyme made magic together on this sammie!!
- Irays MunozJuly 26, 2015Loved the stuffed chile poblano, and I am Mexican so not just any combination with chile poblano is good FYI. Amazing bread pudding too.
- RoadretroDecember 27, 2011Best Breakfast/Brunch in Chicago and surprisingly competitively priced. Inventive fares with fresh foods. Try their daily special you won't be disappointed - go for a walk down Andersonville after.
- SaraMarch 3, 2013Food was amazing! However, I'd never wait as long as I did- it's not THAT worth it. Unless you wanna wait 1.5 hrs, come for lunch after 1:30 on Sun. They should consider reservations! Lesson learned.
- Time Out Chicago KidsJanuary 11, 2012Thick, dense blueberry pancakes (choose maple or pomegranate syrup) and a heaping breakfast sandwich of fried egg, Gorgonzola, applewood-smoked bacon and fresh thyme make for a delicious breakfast. Read more
- Aleksandra BysiekJune 9, 2019The bread pudding was delicious and a must try for anyone who’s never been here before.
- I enjoy coming here because I can get a simple 2-3 egg breakfast, house potatoes, side of fresh fruit. and some hot tea. Just the basics without overindulging and spending a lot.
- Katie McCormickNovember 30, 2016M. Henry was the perfect spot for a late lunch. The presentation was beautiful, food was fresh, and the service was excellent.
- Much less crowded during the week, if you're looking for a place for a morning meeting. Even the basic two eggs breakfast is world class.
- Everything is excellent here - my go to see the Huevos Borrachos
- Vanessa SotoOctober 24, 2017Even if you're not typically a sweet breakfast person, you should make an exception for the cinnamon roll French toast
- I love it!! The egg sandwich is my best. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Everything is fresh and wonderful.
- Time Out ChicagoJune 4, 2012Yeah, it gets mobbed for brunch on the weekends, but the black-bean cake and eggs is a winning breakfast any day of the week.
- MikeMay 3, 2016The breakfast sandwich was perfect in every way - albeit pricey. The potatoes are delicious.

- Johnny AustermannJune 13, 2010I want to move into the apartment above mhenrys so I can eat here everyday! The bread pudding really is out of this world and so is any version of the eggs Benedict. Fannie's sandi rocks too!!
- Dianne CartyDecember 28, 2018Good pancakes, but... Sourdough bread--hard, sunny side eggs--overcooked, latte--worse than Starbucks. Really?! Website touts a trained chef, but experience leaves much to be desired... dont waste $$!
- BOLLODecember 31, 2010Unless you love leeks more than Jesus, don't get the quiche. Def start with a chai latte and a blueberry lemon poppyseed muffin. Hopefully the food will be better if I ever go back.
- Jeiran HasanAugust 5, 2016Bread pudding was delicious. Ate it over the next three days and it still tasted like heaven.
- Talal ANovember 24, 2019Super cozy; friendly, quick service. The bread pudding lives up to the hype.
- Brittany NicoleAugust 30, 2014Everything about this spot is prefect (minus the wait). The omelets are delicious
- The food is excellent and made with quality ingredients. After being spotty for a bit, the service is back on track. Come early or expect a wait (unless you're a party of 2). Must try: breadpudding.
- Aimee AimeeNovember 28, 2012The french toast here make it worth the wait. One of the best breakfast places in Chicago.
- Julia ParkMarch 8, 2014The place is overrated. Wait isn't long amd service is good, but the food is just okay. I would go once for the sake of going, but wouldn't go back.
- Patrick HarnerDecember 15, 2013How is a long wait a valid complaint? Would you prefer they make crappy food and lose business so you can shove it in your face right away?
- Mandy SwansonFebruary 15, 2014Berry Bliss Hotcakes and chocolate strawberry brioche French toast were awesome! And get lots of bacon!!!
- Gloria ChinJanuary 17, 2013blackberry blisscakes w/ vanilla mascarpone cream between the pancakes, surrounded by crunchy brown sugar & oatmeal
- Raymond HarrisAugust 20, 2014Amazing food every time. The quiche is very good, but so is everything.

- Michelin Travel & LifestyleAugust 16, 2011Don’t be deterred by the packed house, the pancakes (and everything else) make the wait worthwhile. - Inspector
