- They have lots if tables, so this is the ideal place to study at! Their lattes are to die for! Their mushroom panini was bomb! Their cookies and yogurt with granola and fruit are yummy! 2 thumbs up!
- Ashley MowreyMay 29, 2016The baristas here are legit, every cappuccino I e had here is the perfect temp and the espresso is always balanced. They have wi-fi, outlets, good food and a good vibe. It's perfect.
- I love getting breakfast sandwiches here! They have an egg one with an aioli that is so delicious. Great coffee and teas, too. You can definitely get work done at this spot.
- Brian SMay 20, 2015Wifi is iffy but there's plenty of seating and the food is tasty. If you don't have anything serious to work on it's a good space to hunker down for a bit. The plethora of magazines are a nice perk.
- Matt PorrecaDecember 27, 2012Great coffee, tons of magazines from around the world, lots of outside seating thanks to 3 parking space long parkette, and a plethora of bike parking. Oh yeah, and free wifi. Def my new home office.
- Tasty coffee, sandwiches, salads, kombucha on tap. Recently expanded 1st floor with no-laptop seating and parklet. Upstairs is always busy (and warm!) but laptop friendly. Free WiFi for 2 hours.
- Nikos AntipordaSeptember 11, 2012Great hole in the wall neighborhood coffee in uptown Oakland. If your tired of the usual Starbucks and want a variety this is the place for you.
- Nathan JSeptember 20, 2019Great sandwiches and coffee. WiFi is limited to 2 hours and can get busy on Sunday’s but if you are able to get a seat, it’s a great place. Can get hot upstairs.
- Adrian PhillipsJanuary 12, 2016Great place to get soup and salad or panini sandwiches. The coffee is good alongside friendly service. Order at the counter and get your food when they call your name.

- Kensie SmithMarch 9, 2013If you sit at the high bar in the balcony, don't drop your knife accidentally. Aftermath between the trajectory of object, gravitational pull & coffee at the bottom could be hazardous.
- Elizabeth PriceDecember 16, 2012Get a super delicious bagel with lox, onions & capers. They put the capers on the bottom of the pile so they don't roll off your bagel!
- Steven WirtAugust 6, 2015Perhaps the best brownie in town. And where else can you page through Wire and Fader mags on the same newstand?
- Chris DadzitisMay 19, 2013Don't forget to grab a coffee refill. You'll save a whole 10 cents on your second cup. Tell them Chris sent you for this sweet discount.

- Artiom D.June 28, 2015You can grab some of the tons of magazines to read while you're drinking your coffee 👍
- Golan RamrasDecember 7, 2023I'm disgusted by this establishment. Most especially its employees. They are racist bigots & harass customers they want to denigrate. Food was average & smothered in racial discrimination. Revolting.
- I love that they have almond milk and nice cocoa powder to add to my coffee. I hate that they close at 9pm... way too early!
