- Greasy, heavenly, NY PIZZA 🍕🍕🍕🍕 Best I've found in the hood
- Rachel WongSeptember 21, 2017Basic slices. Be sure to re-toast it if you get a slice to go. Sometimes they don't heat it all the way if they know you're not staying.
- EunieApril 9, 2017Get the grandma and mushroom pesto slices! Also love the cherry tomato and margherita!
- While their official close time is 11, they are often open later and happy to keep serving great pizza. YMMV
- AJApril 2, 2020I always go for a classic slice. This pizza is fine. I’ve had better and I’ve had worse. Not a whole lot of other quick cheap options in the neighborhood.
- Kevin KeatingDecember 26, 2014Get a plain slice, if anything (or something on the counter). If it's not displayed, they'll put raw toppings on a plain slice and heat it. Meh.
- The Sicilian slices - like everything here - are hit or miss, but when they're on, they're really damn good.

- Fearghal O'BraoinJune 4, 2010The house special I got in Sal's Pizzeria looked good from above but scorched to a cinder across the base :(
- quality pizza-by-the-slice and italian ices. real old-school.
- NickleshOctober 4, 2015I pop in occasionally for a quick slice of the pesto mushroom. Does the trick, and better than most slice joints.
- Campbell BirdOctober 13, 2015An old family owned pizza shop. Surprisingly good slices if you like a nice crispy crust.
- Rachel ShifmanJanuary 5, 2016Any slice other than plain cheese is $4, which is a little much for me. Otherwise, really delicous!
- Tom LFebruary 23, 2019The owner of Sal's rips off his customers with a 6% fee when you use a credit or debit card. His pizza is mediocre at best. The place is dirty. Gordon Ramsey couldn't help him. His wife is very nice.
