Broader selection of wheat bagels (everything, sesame, etc), as well as flats (basically like getting a scooped bagel). Plus, the jalapeño cream cheese is a nice twist and has a great kick to it. 👍
Daily lunch special -filling of the day (Thu is tuna or chicken salad) with tomato and lettuce on a bagel, wrap or bread, with soda, coleslaw and pickle $6.95. Tuna salad and bagel were great!
Great NYC bagels - stop by on a weekday morning and don't be surprised to catch a celeb in line with you. A bagel with plain cream cheese and a small hot or iced coffee is only $5. Score!
Not cheap but you get amazing sandwiches with fresh ingredients and friendly service. Try the traditional salmon with capers, onions, and cream cheese.
The Grand Central Bagel used to be the bane of my waistline. Grilled Chicken, Smoked Bacon, Dijon-Mayo, Tomato and Romaine Lettuce on an Everything Bagel. Not quite as good as The Lucky Carmine though
Drop by and have a wholewheat everything, toasted w/Lox, scallion cream cheese and they even have capers!!! Tell Mike, Keith sent ya!! The freshly squeezed OJ is a good top off.
The eastern gaspe bagel had one slice on a mediocre bagel. You may be better off getting a 1/4 and two bagels and making your own sandwiches. But bagel still meh and coffee sucks and I like colombe.
nothing more than regular bagel you’d find at any bakerycoffee shop in america. Charge “New York bagel” prices for mediocre at best bagel with cheesewhizcream cheese!
FYI, the Mayor Special for a free coffee to their most loyal customers is no longer honored. To their credit the manager did comp my coffee (though I had already spent $11 so it wasn't my only item).
A classic NYC bagel shop re-imagined, with hand-rolled bagels, hand-sliced smoked fish, creative sandwiches, and catering throughout the city. We carefully source from partners like La Colombe Coffee, Acme Smoked Fish and others, so that every bite and sip will be delicious...
