The best authentic Mexican food I've had in Boston. When we think Mexican, we usually just think tacos and burritos but this place is overflowing with flavor, history, and care. Get the tamales!

Wholesome and proudly authentic. Vegetarians will love the tender cactus in the Indio Vestido and Pipian Paskal. Make sure to get the Mexican spiced coffee or hot chocolate! Brunch is also delicious

The Chile Relleno en Nogada is a revelation. Also the shrimp Relleno with goat cheese. Really, you can't go wrong here. Amazing upscale Mexican cuisine.

Authentic Mexican food (not to be confused with Tex-Mex). The plantain empanadas are a great starter, and anything with cactus in it is a rare treat for New England.

You can now buy their sangria bottled! I highly suggest adding a bottle to your take-out order when you call! I got a case for my sister’s backyard wedding

The kind of restaurant that used to warn patrons it didn't have burritos. One of the few local spots for grasshopper tacos, serving micheladas before they were cool (for gringos). [Eater 38 Member]

If you're a fan of Huevos Rancheros, try their Huevos Divorciados instead - it's fantastic! (I'm sure the Rancheros is great too though.)

Most authentic Mexican food in the Boston area. Ignore the low 4sq rating, it's great comfort food and healthy! Dishes you wouldn't find at most restaurants.

Do yourself a favor whatever you order get a side of Longaniza. It's the most delicious thing that I have ever eaten. Comes with tortillas and sauces and cilantro. Make your own tacos. Yum!!

Decent food but was expecting more after reading many good reviews. They also served sopes with Parmesan cheese instead of the expected cotija. Chips and quac were tasty but no traditional salsa? Wut?

The grasshopper tacos are tasty and don't feel like bugs when you're chewing - it's just crunchy. Get past the idea of it and it's easy to eat.

Upscale Mexican food. A lot of choices. Octopus or squid are my favorites. Their mole sauce is the best. Don't expect to find tacos, burritos or enchiladas on the menu, though.

Definitely try the cactus salad, but note that it's best shared with others as an app. It's big and very, very cactus-y. :)
