Their menu is delicious. It is a rose among thorns in the community. Trust me if you go once you will go again. A pleasant atmosphere with an outdoor patio . Definitely in my top 5.

The black-eyed peas and collard greens are just like Mrs. Jackson used to make, minus the pork products(=vegetarian). THe workers are super chill and nice.

Healthy soul food restaurant/market founded 1984 by Purcell Keeling. Moved to current address across street 1995. Vegetarian/Vegan options. Googie building constructed 1958 architects Armet & Davis.

I was being greedy and grabbed the Mac n cheese in addition to my meal. Mistake, I'll be nice and say, it just wasn't what I expected. At all. Everything else was a hit 👍
