- Big portion, taste great and decent price. If you cant finish your food, you can take home. All the soups are recommended!
- Always super busy, call first if you don't want to wait. Best sui kau soup in town. I also love the pepper and salt squid. Order the Chinese ice tea, it's yummy!
- Jenny SMarch 10, 2015Authentic Chinese food, big portions and good service. I like the crispy noodle with chicken, and chili (very spicy). Regular dishes come with rice which was great. Jenny approves. :) Will be back.
- Merve A.December 5, 2015The best chinese in town! Even I've ever had in universe💣 Start with Sui Kai soup w Bami and go on with a main dish including duck👍👍👍 Of course w a chinese beer! Perfect dinner😍
- Natalie IlichevaMarch 13, 2016Great choice for the Chinese food lovers.Take sweet and sour shrimps with the steamed rice (it is good for 2) and Chinese beer. The place is popular so be prepared to sit on the head of your neighbors
- Simon OpsomerAugust 6, 2023Tasty Chinese food (European style). The red roasted pork is recommended by many people. And while it wasn’t the best ever, it’s still very good. Make a reservation if you can.
- Tatiana AlekseevaDecember 29, 2012Very crowdy, tables stand too close to each other, service is informal, prices are a bit higher than one would expect. But on the positive side: service is quick, food is tasty. Reserve a table!
- Fried rice and Peking duck. And the most delicious home made ice tea
- Tim GeldofAugust 2, 2017I ordered dim sum and a large bami noodle soup. The dim sum is tasty and nicely priced. The portions are quite big at a relatively low pricepoint. The waiters are friendly and fast workers.
- Sam MAugust 25, 2017Great authentic Cantonese food, large portions, good value. Not a lot of seating so probably worth getting there early or at a non-obvious time.
- susiQMarch 26, 2012The best for Chinese food. Do try the oyster mix with three different preperations. It's delicious.
- Try the chicken with pepper & salt or the jumbo shrimp wih pepper & salt. Both are delicious ♥️
- John ASeptember 7, 2015Nice modern style interior and delicious fresh food served quick. Recommend: red chili fried tofu, grilled squid and vegetables.
- MeiqiuezJuly 21, 2016very nice place, inexpensive prices, try their roasted pork very generous size, the Dimsum alao very fresh
- Ina LiNovember 30, 2014Really authentic Cantonese flavors. Eggplant with fish is a must try is you like both ingredients
- Hu DoJanuary 12, 2015Authentic tastes, big portions but very high quality. Good price. Always full, but they have fast service.
- Jenny GoJune 25, 2017Good food: swikiau; fishball; noodle soup; vegie except the service from this waiter. Avoid her if you don't want to loose your appetite. She is to rough..
- Marco DreijerJuly 22, 2013One of the best Chinese restaurants in the city! Often there is a line, but worth waiting for. (Or come back on a monday or tuesday)
- Leo GonzalesOctober 25, 2018Had the wonton soup, pork belly, and yang chow - all tasted great! Dinner was very busy, so get there early.
- Try the Gevulde Forel (stuffed trout), Eggplant w/Blackbean Sauce, Wonton/Swikiau Soup, Salt & Pepper Squid, Tofu Malacca Sauce. Expect 15-30mins waiting time to get a table, but it's worth the wait.
- Love the chicken with pepper and salt and the shrimp with pepper and salt. Delicious!
- Jenny SSeptember 21, 20152nd visit: dim sum & kang kong and beef. Both were great. However I don't like that they pointed out & guilt trip people with receipt saying "service is not included". There's no tipping in Holland..
- Konstantinos ChatzopoulosDecember 23, 2016Very good food... please don't go around 22:00 because they will be very rush and they will show you with every possible way
- Ye Jun WuAugust 30, 2014The food is great, but do not get the duck or roasted bbq pork. The duck skin was not crispy at all. For real duck or roasted bbq pork go to Wing Kee.
- Queues have restarted: book a table! When you try it you will know why is The King! Best chinese in the area, keep its crown!!!
- STARSKIAugust 6, 2014The best chinese food in Amsterdam!! Try shrimp springroll and Soya Chicken with chilli oil!
- DevontaJuly 9, 2015Really good Chinese food. In the heart of Chinatown Amsterdam. Try the sweet & sour chicken.
- Rinesh RamgoelamMarch 9, 2013You should defenitely try the sieuw kau soup and the shrimps in hung lak sauce! Also specialty lambsrib
- Lily KwanNovember 28, 2016Ordered BBQ meat with rice. Didn't really like it. I am still looking for some authentic Cantonese soy sauce chicken in Amsterdam.
- Martin GaedkeFebruary 12, 2012If you stay for some days - One dinner here is a must. If you have to wait to be seated - do not complain and wait. It's worth it!
- Richard FindlayDecember 6, 2014Big big portions but quality of food is superb ! Watch entry at 10.30 you might feel rushed
- MattOctober 2, 2013Saw waitress recycle our leftover white rice and saw another waiter clean our beer glasses by just dunking them in water and placing them back on the shelf. Who knows what goes down in the kitchen.
- iamedwDecember 30, 2018Service is good and wanton noodle soup is nice but the duck is a big letdowns. Extremely cramped inside and difficult to access with infant stroller due to narrow space and staircase.
- Stefan HarijonoAugust 9, 2010I've been coming here since I was a little boy. Food's great in general, but try the noodle soups! Tip: make reservations if visiting after 6pm or be prepared to wait for at least 30 minutes!
- Doug BelshawMay 6, 2014Starters great - Dim Sum was awesome. Main courses (sizzling beef and crunchy noodles) only average.
- MatthijsApril 25, 2015Fried wantan is great. All food actually!! Beware though, it's always crowded!
- Just take the lamb chops flambé. It's flambé-ed at your table.
- Vincent OordDecember 11, 2011Looks pretty classy compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area. Food is pretty authentic too. Opened till very late!
- Make a reservation. There's always a queue. Which is of course a good sign.
