The best place in LA to take someone to eat who has annoying food preferences. Hugo's will accommodate people with food allergies, gluten allergy, vegans, lactose intolerant etc. it's my default spot
Green Tamales and eggs: sans eggs and sour cream, sub. tofu. Yummy and filling vegan breakfast. Mix in a side of quinoa and add Cholula for a protein filled, flavor explosion! (That's what he said?)
All day breakfast is great here, especially the Eggs Blackstone (think eggs benedict but with black beans instead of English muffin). The lines can get very long so come early on the weekends.
Phenomenal and mouth watering everything!!! Must try the Mac and Cheese! holy yum! You can taste the freshness of everything. Service is outstanding! If I'm ever in Cali again, I'm going back!
This is my favorite place to meet friends for brunch. I ALWAYS order the Go Green Frittata and a Vanilla Latte. It’s satisfying and I feel like a health nut. Well, less the latte.
Pancakes are delicious, best in LA yummy😋 we came here on first day of our honeymoon and we come here again on our last day in LA, just to eat pancakes again🤗

Amazing. Good for vegans & carnivores alike. Gets crowded. Their pozole is to die 4!!! Biggest menu ever. Green spinachy-lentil dish is amazing too! Corntamales. Mmm
The focus on meeting patrons' expectations is well executed. If there is something you need or would substitute - for personal or medical reasons they are there. Wonderful place.
Almond energy pancakes were very tasty (and filling:-)) but mine came with very "sad" strawberries - not fresh at all, which disappointed me as I had really hugh expectations
