- Mike WinstonFebruary 26, 2016The best Burmese near SFO. Killer tea leaf salad, avocado tempura shrimp spring rolls, pumpkin yellow curry, and Burmese style curry pork. Read all about these awesome deals on WinstonWanders.com.
- Monica JainApril 5, 2013My favorite order: tapioca w coconut milk, tea leaf salad, rainbow salad, pumpkin yellow chicken and coconut rice. Order it all- it's all worth trying! paratha is also good
- While the stir-fry dishes will satisfy any desire for Chinese cuisine, you must order the Burmese plates! The curried pork has a three day prep with pickled mango and the pumpkin chicken is heavenly.
- Vincent LaceyJune 7, 2014Curry pork is best pork. House noodle is unique, but a little tangy. Tea leaf salad not as fresh as Burma superstar, and ratio was a little off. Tapioca coconut milk is basically a dessert!
- Tarah FeinbergSeptember 5, 2014Excellent tea leaf salad, Rangoon prawns, noodles with chicken. Kau soi is pretty good, but I'm spoiled by my wife's Indian/Burmese version. Great service too.
- Tea leaf salad and the naked eggplant are incredible. Not only the best Burmese food in the Bay Area, but also the best restaurant period in Burlingame. Always busy, but always worth the wait.
- My all time favorite place! Here's what you get: tea leaf salad (non veg), coconut rice or fried rice, spicy string beans with shrimp. Enjoy
- Ashley Kennedy-FosterAugust 24, 2013All the suggests are right on - BUT if you want that one dish that really tastes like a lot of time and effort went into it - Burmese curried pork. Slow simmered spicy curry, fall apart pork. This!
- Akshay JawharkarSeptember 14, 2016Best Burmese food in the peninsula. House special noodles are the best
- Jung-Ah YumOctober 8, 2013Jasmine flower tea. Pretty but the petals got in the way... Recommend the house noodles, asparagus tofu and rainbow salad!
- Don't leave without getting the paratha . The curry sauce that comes with it is glorious...you won't be able to stop dipping the crisp fried dough in it!
- Charles BMay 1, 2014this place is the shit. best resto within 10 miles of the airport. tea leaf salad, rainbow salad, curry beef all perfect.
- Gnat BrainDecember 27, 2013Arguably as good as or better than Superstar. Try the shrimp avocado tempura roll as an app.
- Mystery ManiaAugust 29, 2018Very good Burmese food here, delicious! A little on the pricer side though. Street parking only as well.
- Dave BirchMay 9, 2013Possibly beats Burma superstar. Mango lasi was incredible. Tea leaf salad was great, basil chicken as well. Mango salad was incredible
- i used to like this place a lot. The quality of food had decreased and the waiter kept getting us incorrect orders.Last yr i would have rated this a 4/5 but now may be a 2.5
- Best time to get a table with no wait is late evening. The food is amazing including Tea Leaf Salad.
- Nivita VermaJuly 5, 2014Super busy Sat lunch hour yet they graciously let me wait at a table when my gf was running 15min late. Thank you so much Mingalaba!
- KarlaAugust 17, 2014The line is long but it's worth it. Put your name down and then walk around downtown.
- Jeremy KSeptember 19, 2014You have the option to order cocoanut rice with your entree. Do it. You'll be glad you did. :-)
- Kathy HuangNovember 10, 2012Everything is delicious but my favorites are the Spicy Basil Chicken, Panfried Okra Prawns and the Mango Slushie!
- AngelaJanuary 22, 2013Pumpkin, Singapore noodles, Burmese shrimp...everything was great! Make reservations!! Long list for walk-ins.
- Vanessa FoxApril 9, 2013The paratha is awesome. They don't take reservations but you can call ahead to get on a list
- Frank CecenaMarch 6, 2015Unbelievable flavor, great service, write your names on the board and wait. It's worth it.
- Jon KotkerJuly 29, 2016The tea-leaf salad was delicious -- would highly recommend. It's also filling.
- Gnat BrainJanuary 18, 2014The ginger lemonade has a good bite with enough sweetness to keep the puckerface time to a minimum.
- Priyesha SachdevApril 3, 2012Good Dishes: Palatha, Spring Beans with Tofu, Kung Pao Chicken, Chow Mein, and much more mmm so good!
- Mango chicken with coconut rice - sooo good! If they have the ginger lemonade, try it! Really yummy!
- Aris GonzalesDecember 1, 2012Get the Mango Chicken, Burmese Style Chicken Curry, Rainbow Salad, Mango Lassi, Burmese Iced Tea
- Isha GujaratiJanuary 20, 2015Good food. The fried rice is the best! The house noodles are not worth it.
- Simply amazing, I want to go back and try all of the dishes.
- Ram KrishnanMay 26, 2013The parathas and the samosa soup are just amazing...... Overall a worthwhile restaurant
- Genesis F.April 25, 2016What was lacking in flavour was made up for in service. If you have a palate for lightly seasoned and mild to bland spices you'll enjoy Mingalaba. Additionally, the prices won't break the bank.
- Vandana AbrahamJuly 22, 2013Green papaya salad is great, and the portions are very large for one person.
- Trina JohnsonFebruary 25, 2015I got the curry prawns and the vegetarian spring rolls. Although it was tasty, it was too expensive in my opinion. Not going to go back because of the price.
- Lauren MindelJuly 20, 2013Great service and yummy food! Loved the rice noodle dish with coconut chicken.
