- Karey MorrisJuly 16, 2013You hear "diner" and think affordable. Then you walk in and see linen tablecloths and napkins. No kids menu so ordered sides of mac & cheese and spaghetti for $10 a pop. Be prepared to spend!
- Fathima DadaMay 22, 2016Their brunch options are great, and their polenta best in NYC. Decent coffee. It's very authentic with lovely staff.Upvoted Mar 30
- PJ WalkerMay 19, 2014This is the best service I've ever received at a NYC diner. You absolutely have to get the French Toast and to do so you must get there before 11:15 a.m.
- Cassie RoeloffsMarch 15, 2017Pricy, but understandably so, very high end diner. Huge pot pie is a must, get an egg cream, and make a reservation.
- Marie La RueMarch 7, 2018Somewhat authentic diner experience in Midtown. Prices are high but food and service are generally good. Interesting mix of characters, New Yorkers and tourists alike. Bonus for Retro 80s soundtrack.
- RonniSeptember 27, 2016If you're a party of 2, it's a quick wait. I had the hand chopped smoked salmons, caramelized onions & scrambled eggs which was not super heavy for brunch but very good
- Michael Fox-RabinovitzOctober 28, 2015Split pea soup, pigs in blanket, malt vanilla milkshake...solid diner fare
- Mike GilmourDecember 1, 2013The food here is quite expensive, but if you're after a light lunch try the Caesar Salad. It's more reasonably priced than the rest of the menu, the portions are huge and the quality is really good.
- Lani AikoJanuary 4, 2018Very busy on a Wednesday morning but the food and service were good. I really enjoyed the smoked salmon bagel and cream cheese.
- Taher AlmuaddiMarch 8, 2018The greatest Pancake I have ever eaten, and I have eaten a lot across the world 😁, the service was excellent everything was amazing definitely I would come back
- WillMcDFebruary 2, 2016classic NYC spot. Eggs are eggs when it comes to dinners, but having that historic edge makes it a bit sweeter
- Estella RamirezAugust 24, 2014There's a tip here about a vegan burger, but it's not vegan; it's vegetarian! Ask about all menu items. Apparently even the hummus used to have chicken broth until recently.
- Dr NickDecember 30, 2018The 15 bite hotdog is a must. Expensive at around ~$20 but it weighs nearly 1 pound and comes with fries. Definitely a NY staple.
- Their chicken soup is the greatest thing on the face of the planet. Not even kidding. Also worth trying the chicken pot pie and chocolate blackout cake. Avoid the Times Sq. location knockoff
- Julie SosciaJanuary 29, 2019You should absolutely order the 15 inch, 15 Bite Hot Dog here. Brooklyn Diner also serves a delicious hearty breakfast.
- Julien AleksandresFebruary 9, 2018I really don’t come here that often. Anyway, tonight I’m noticing the menu has changed since last time I was here and the STAFF is ridiculously CUTE. All of them!!
- The Corcoran GroupJuly 18, 2012There’s much to love about this upscale (and somewhat pricey) diner – but you’d be hard pressed to find anything better than the 15 Bite Brooklyn Diner Hot Dog.
- Alphamom IsabelOctober 23, 2010Our favorite restaurant for Family Dinner. So many great dishes. Love the lasagna, chinese chicken salad, mac n cheese, fried chicken and waffles and chicken parmigiana. Lobster roll not so good.
- Jamie ChristianJuly 19, 2012The pastrami spring roll is to die for! Try the red birch soda. It tastes like a wintergreen lifesaver and a hint of root beer... Awesome.
- Matthew CaldecuttApril 8, 2017Settled on pancakes and bacon. Having eggs next time. Great service. Strong coffee.
- Daniel KarranFebruary 2, 2015Be prepared to indulge in some delicious food! The Pastrami Mac and Cheese is absolutely delicious!
- Daniel KarranFebruary 2, 2015Be prepared to indulge in great food. Go for the Pastrami Mac & Cheese! You will FALL IN LOVE!
- Universal Models For PeaceOctober 28, 2013Amazing place, great food not at all diner quality, heavenly milkshakes that you can add alcohol too :) must visit!
- Emily MarvinMay 2, 2018The salad was amazing, and my friends said their burgers were great. I wish they had sweet potato fries 😢
- Guillo AguilarDecember 26, 2013This is one of my all-time-favorites :) don't miss the strawberry short cake with fudge all over :D
- Fernanda TurcatoAugust 23, 2015Amazing ! Good service and super friendly staff. The fresh squeezed orange juice is wonderful.
- Natalia BakerOctober 14, 2014There's another one near Times Square too. Pricey but good breakfasts, excellent for VIP watching!
- AnitraJuly 6, 2013Totally regretting it! Cute little place but I've definitely had better burgers for much less than $20 a pop. I guess that's the surcharge for eating on W 57th!
- Alyssa PradoAugust 4, 2014Pancakes are great! Try the orange juice if you are not a coffee person, its delicious!
- Linda MiklowitzMarch 5, 2013You can have chunks of fried polenta with your eggs. Don't ask for hash browns; there are none. Dark roast Italian coffee, too.
- Dan EntinJanuary 14, 2014If you want to see Jerry Seinfeld come by around 10am on weekdays - he's often here eating in a window seat facing 57th.
- HaneenAugust 25, 2016Brunch or Breakfast here is a must!! Don't miss it, great food and Great service
- Michelle HamiltonFebruary 15, 2014I DARE you to eat THAT dog!! :-) excellent service, cute mini bathroom felt like home- good place
- Pricey restaurant, but get the pancakes if you're there. Definitely worth it. 🥞
- Jon WinterJanuary 6, 2013Pancakes were absolutely fantastic, but corned beef & pastrami hash was average (and the portion way too large) and forget about espresso, it's basically a small shot of filter coffee.
- DoubleDeuceJune 28, 2015Out-of-towners chose it because it was on "Triple D". They seemed pleased. I live here. No way would I choose this place if not constricted by schedule and neighborhood. It's a fine diner though.
- Olivia Quinn-KumarMay 21, 2017Has the look of an American diner but not the delivery most disappointing non tasty meal and for the price! No impressed with rock chills and burnt toast didn't get mayo Asking asking three times!
- LindaDecember 6, 2012If you have a food allergy, tell them. They go out of their way to accommodate you! If you are gluten challenged, for example.
- William GeigerMarch 22, 2014Without a doubt get the cheesecake. It is the best my wife and I have ever had!
- Brendan SpiegelFebruary 22, 2012The 15-inch dawg comes on a comically small but beautifully buttery bun, along with onion rings, relish, mustard and kraut. Read more
- Oh SusanOctober 31, 2015Chicken pot pie was decent, but overly salted and can easily feed 2-4 people unless you're a 300 pound person.
- Rev CiancioJune 22, 2010You can't go wrong with a cheeseburger,a side of Shelly’s Baked Macaroni & Cheese and a Rugelach cookie. Click link for full story. Read more
