Relaxed spot in Hayes Valley to have an iced coffee and a pastry. Egg dishes are good too. Nice owner, good music, free wifi, new parklet, power outlets, and regular morning crowd. Tip well please.

Plenty of outlets and coffee from Four Barrel and De La Paz. All of their soups, scones, muffins, and pies are made by hand, and when possible, all of the ingredients are organic and local. Read more

My go-to neighborhood cafe. The orange juice and fresh strawberry scones in the morning are amazing. You can't go wrong with the bagels or coffee, either.

Favorite coffee shop in SF! Super nice folks and great food. Outlets, lots of seating, open air and tons of natural light. The best!!!

The coffee is mediocre (go to Ritual or Blue Bottle up the block) but the food is good and the parklet outside is excellent. Favorite parklet in SF.

Beautiful new parklets installed recently. It's a great place to spend a morning drinking coffee and watching the terrible traffic patterns at Page & Octavia.

Stop what you're doing and order the Pie. Whatever flavor (Apple most likely), it's easily some of THE BEST in town, and I don't say that lightly.

A divier cafe, in a good way - it feels very comfortable. But the persistent smell of exhaust from Octavia makes sitting here for any length of time unpleasant.

Get the Costa Rica. Strong in caffeine yet light enough that you can drink it black. Outlets along the wall and reliable wifi.

The coffee is ok, the staff can be hit or miss. They don't offer refills on coffee. The best place to sit and work is upstairs.
