Some coffee spots are made for people in a rush, but this is a spot to sit outside with a friend. The breakfast is solid too (I like the PLT)

Wonderful food and service! Matteo went above and beyond. The pastas are homemade and fresh - very authentic. Portions could be bigger but the quality overrides that!

This is a great place to grab wine and appetizers before dinner, or even just because. The $36 chefs tasting (cheese, meat and bruschetta) is delicious!

Good coffee. More importantly, the coffee cup lids are well designed. Don't char the tip of your tongue and better spillage control, when walking in a hurry.

Quite possibly the best croissants in the city. The coffee is delicious and perfect every time and the chocolate cornetti aren't too sweet. OBSESSED! Read more

Au Lait is a close second to La Colombe. Outdoor tables and prosciutto croissant sandwich - great. "Milk" in to-go coffees is steamed, a big plus.

Perhaps the best croissant I've ever had, if you are into butter, which I most certainly am.

Go to TEV for brunch on a weekend morning. Order the cappuccino -- it's delicious! Go for one of the tasty pastries as well. Make sure you have plenty of time, as service tends to be sloooow. Read more

The croissants are buttery good, but they flake like mad when you eat them. Make sure you're not wearing nice clothes when you chow down.
