The Capital Grille is the place to go for a professional business lunch. You have to try the Parmesan Truffle Fries and the Lobster Mac ‘N’ Cheese. The dirty martini is excellent too.
The PorciniDelmonico steak is outstanding. The porcini mushroom flavor is subtle yet the balsamic is smoothly persistent. Cool Ipad-based wine menu guides the wine pairing along with cordial servers.
Very good for working meals and business meetings. Steaks are a cut below what you can get a few blocks away at Palm and other nearby mainstays. Seafood tower will make you happy, though.
Vegetarians: if you ask your waiter, there are a usually a few off menu entrees the kitchen can make for you, e.g. pasta with vegetables or a seared tofu dish when I was last there.
Dined in for a restaurant weeklunch special. Lively yet classy ambience. Good food. If I ever come back, it would be because of the lunch-time sunlight and the creme brulee
We had such an amazing evening! Thanks to our server Daniel who was incredible! We we're there celebrating a momentous occasion and it was made more special by the exceptional service we received!
The roasted mushrooms and lobster mac are really good. Everything is good here except the steaks. It's just not aged well and how they cook it is very inconsistent. Go for the sides, not the steak
My family and I had a great dinner. The delmonico steak was wonderful enough for 2.i had a sushituna that was real good. Fine wine and delicious dessert.a little bit expansive but it is worth it.
The perfect Grill lunch: Crab meat cocktailappetizer, the Petite Filet medium rare, the kick ass Lobster Mac "n" Cheese and Wild Mushrooms on the side and end with the Creme Brulee. YUM!
Omg! Generous portions of food for restaurant week! Definitely worth it. Though my medium rare steak felt more like a medium. So if you like it medium rare, ask for it to be more rare than medium!
Continuing until Sept. 2, The Capital Grille is having its "The Generous Pour--Summer WineEvent " which features nine very good wines for $25. This is an excellent value and should not be missed.
One can have lunch here without breaking the bank..by NYC standards. The Lobster and Crab burger is excellent and not crazy pricey. Their signature cheeseburger is also a tasty option. Make sure to or
The food here is typical of a steakhouse and the service is moderately good. The ambiance is charged with power, as this location caters to the business world.
Business-attire recommended. Often a part of NY Restaurant Week. Smaller portions. Pricey. Within walking distance of Chrysler building. Extensive wine list.
Not a place for calorie counting. Don’t skip the lobster mac and cheese, burrata, creamed spinach, and potatoes au gratin. Basically, all the things with cheese.
Best steak around. Seriously... forget what you might think, and try it. But sit in the back "glass" room. Oh, and service is great too... they kiss great ass here!
Beware of creepy old waiter with glasses that hovers over you while you're eating, looks at you behind pillars, and watches your every move. Stalker status.
Terrible customer hosting service, as I am in town on tour myself and celebrity guest we were sat in the far back corner by the kitchen closet. Never again
website prices were WAY different than menu prices. They didn’t honor the online price. Steak was very dry not worth the price, potatoes al gratin was horrid.
The Capital Grille is nationally acclaimed for dry-aged steak, fresh seafood, & a diverse wine list, presented with professional and attentive service.
