This happy hour is legit and goes til 8. Also, bartenders are very nice.
Great place to hang out in Prospect Heights. Definitely a beer bar, so leave your fancy cocktail orders at home. Garden is awesome in warm weather.
Great place to hang out with friends or alone. They have a great selection of beers, but don't get too attached they swap beers.
I recommend coming here all the time and having fake nicknames for the (great) bartenders whose real names you'll never remember. Except Pablo.

Dev PApril 21, 2011Nice outdoor area in the backyard makes it a fun experience. The TV at the bar always has an interesting movie playing subtitled only.
If you're in the neighborhood, go. If you smoke, light up. If you have a dog, bring 'em. Everything goes at Washington Commons.- Great and frequently updated list of drafts. Also one of the best backyard gardens in the neighborhood.

Washington Commons has an excellent always-rotating draft list of quality beers and has great cult films playing most nights.

Dogs are NO LONGER allowed here. They changed the rules recently. Leave your pup at home.
