- Danielle ComerOctober 7, 2013Very cool space and tasty cocktails. Stopped in for lunch but found the wait too long from placed order to served, and the Clubs were dry. Thankfully, the amazing butternut squash soup made up for it!
- SamanthaDecember 19, 2015Too many great dishes to snap! Fabulously delicious were the brussel sprouts & beef heart, gnocchi, crab with uni butter, prawns a la plancha & rainbow trout with curry butter & the Negroni! 😛
- Paull YoungSeptember 28, 2014Best option is to share several dishes. Standout was Sweet Potato Gnocchi. An Oregon pinot noir pairs amazingly well with the pork belly.
- Serious EatsOctober 3, 2013Ultra-hip restaurant and craft cocktail bar in the Ace Hotel with communal seating and unique menu items like rabbit liver mousse and popcorn dusted with ancho chile powder.
- Camilla CalhounOctober 27, 2013Really modern, crisp spot. Great ambience. Sit at the bar and tell the bartender what spirits you like and don't like. My cocktail was amazing... Vodka, soda, apricot liqueur, cardamom bitters, lime.
- John DuarteApril 10, 2019Ambiance paired with great tasting cocktails and very personable bartenders made for an awesome night. The track & field and Dagobah system cocktails were our favorites.
- GNTLMNFebruary 19, 2014Inside the Ace Hotel, one of my favorite, most consistent restaurants. It's a seasonal menu, but the menu isn't huge, so worth taking a look to make sure there's something you'll like.
- GladysDecember 2, 2012The ONLY place I've ever seen in the US that does Caesars. Order one up, I promise it's so much better than your run-of-the-mill Bloody Mary that you won't be able to do without the Clamato ever again
- Natasha RogenApril 14, 2018Brunch!! Today is the first service after 2+ years and it is fantastic! I had eggs benedict and sourdough pancakes and it is incredible! The cocktails are perfect.
- Oft considered the de-facto Portland experience ("oh, you have to go to Clyde Common!"), so it gets pretty packed. My tip: order a sazerac from the bar and take it out to the sofas in the Ace lobby.
- Josef PfeifferSeptember 23, 2013One of the best happy hours ever. Order a bourbon renewal, get the burger and be thankful for life.
- Kenneth MacArthurSeptember 2, 2017Seriously cool spot. No gluten-free mentions on the menu, but staff were very accommodating about gluten-free. Make it even better by putting GF on the menu!
- An KikApril 22, 2018We love this place! Dont miss it! The steak is amazing, like the bussels sprouts or any other dish, really!
- Tatiana OrlovJuly 21, 2013b.m.o.c cocktail. terrine. beet salad. happy hour. long bath in your amazing ace hotel room upstairs. i am in love.

- ArtJonakSeptember 24, 2012Fried chicken livers, pickled grapes, pappardelle, calabrian chiles, fideos, squid, scallops, sausage, squid ink, aioli, buffalo pig face, white bean puree with olive oil... yah, eclectic food!
- Vino50: Grape American Road TripNovember 13, 2013Try the Salmon Lox - At the infamous Clyde Common in PDX. Salmon lox with smoked yogurt and currants. Perfect washed down with an Oregon IPA.
- Enrique Gutiérrez ArzateOctober 29, 2016Great cocktails, extensive liquors assortment, and the happy hour is veery affordable
- Peggy GartinJanuary 15, 2017Very good, very expensive cocktails. Stayed next door at the Ace Hotel for work, and couldn't eat here without blowing my per diem. Open on July 4, unlike a lot of places.
- It is the only bar where I've told the bartender to make me a drink without ordering anything specific. He asked me what kind of liquor I like and a few minutes later I was drinking gin perfection.
- Food & WineApril 21, 2011Communal seating defines this airy, industrial "tavern." It has inspired small plates (popcorn with pimentón) and fantastic cocktails like the Ivy League (bourbon, cherry brandy, green walnut liqueur)
- Bon Appetit MagazineMarch 4, 2011There's a world of warm cocktails beyond the hot toddy - Order the Fallen Angel created by Jeffrey Morgenthaler. Its the best hot drink on the menu! Click More Info for the full recipe. Read more
- A terrific brunch spot in downtown Portland. Breakfast sandwiches, fried chicken and pancakes and eggs Benedict are all delightful.
- BommyJanuary 4, 2015Great ambiance, food, and cocktails. Not too long of a wait but it's best to make reservations. Wonderful staff.
- Jerome PandellJuly 2, 2011East of Eden is a perfect drink if you're visiting from San Francisco and more familiar with that type of mixology. Thanks to Timothy at Bourbon & Branch for the recommendation!
- Andre WyattFebruary 20, 2015Great option if you're hungry for food and craving a cocktail, but not a great option if you're intimidated by the idea of community tables.
- dj clint kuperJune 2, 2014Garlic roasted cashews for happy hour are amazing. Didn't get a pic because they were so good and I ate them.
- Serious EatsOctober 3, 2013Don't leave without trying the Barrel-Aged Negroni or any of the homemade pasta dishes.

- Sabra NelsonApril 2, 2015Great cocktails, unusual aperitifs, fabulous food! Very untraditional but it feels like home!
- allisonJuly 7, 2013Have fun hipster watching while drinking a cool cocktail and munching on spicy ancho chili popcorn.
- sabrinawcAugust 30, 2014One of the best spots for happy hour and late night. Get the daily popcorn special!
- Kevin CrothersJune 7, 2011Fideos, squid, scallops, sausage, squid ink, aioli. This starter is so deliciously decadent it should only be served in new orleans. Eat it and change your life.
- Gayla Reese WalshOctober 17, 2015Award-winning cocktails and eclectic small plates and entrees you won't find anywhere else.
- Cooper SmithAugust 13, 2012Amazing selection of bourbon. If you're looking for a cocktail, try the Bourbon Renewal :: Maker’s Mark, lemon, cassis, bitters
- When waiting for a table go around the bar and wait in the Ace Hotel lobby for a quieter atmosphere.
- Christopher LimaOctober 6, 2016Bourbon Renewal is outstanding. This place blows away all the other "great bars" in Portland.
