It's a controversial choice for Juicy Lucys (not Matt's or the 5-8?), but the Blue Door Pub has got a damn good Blucy. Whatever they've got as the special blucy is always worth a try.
Fantastic happy hour with beer, cider, & appetizers (including tater tots). The burgers are delicious and are stuffed with delicious options. Always our first stop when we land in Minneapolis.
I have had every "great burger" in the twin cities and Blue Door is without question the best. You honestly can't go wrong, but the king of them all is the Jiffy Burger. So. Damn. Good.
Best pub around! One of the most creative menus around, and it's all made from scratch! Here you'll find the sacred Juicy Lucy, one of Minnesota's best accomplishments. Read more
Try the Thai inspired burger with the curry dipping sauce. It is tasty and unique. I love the fries! Definitely don't come with a large group. Keep it to a couple or no more than 4!
My favorite burger here is the Frenchy (French dip juicy Lucy). Love the fries, green bean fries, and cheese curds. They have the best chicken noodle soul EVER!
The Luau Burger is so amazing! There is a sweet chili sauce that they put on it that is amazing. That, plus the pineapple pieces makes it so delicious.
Voted top ten chicken wings! The Frogtown Wings, named for the nearby neighborhood, are ultra crispy chicken wings liberally seasoned and tossed with a chunky, spicy peanut butter sauce.
Give in to the need for juicy beef surrounding a gooey, cheesy interior and topped with crunchy, salty, spicy, lily-gilding goodness. Give in to the Baked 'n' Loaded Juicy Blucy.
Great Happy Hour. Breakfast Burger is a stand-by if the B.O.M. doesn't sound good. Be ready to wait, this is the best burger joint in Saint Paul and lots of people know about it. Read more
If you don't want to wait half an hour head down the street to neighborhood cafe. Never a wait and the food is just as good. Service is above and beyond!
Voted as Best Neighborhood Bar In St. Paul by City Pages in 2010. The happy hours go late, the crowds are pleasant, and the Cajun fries are plain delicious.
One of my favorite burger joints. My favorite as of late is the frenchy. Its like french onion soup in a burger. Fantastic!! Also, cajun tater tots are the bomb!!
Try the Jiffy Burger. This burger with peanut butter, mayo, pepper jack cheese, bacon, and pickles will crack your mind open.—Mpls.St.Paul Magazine, February 2011
Extra spaces open up in the parking lot when the adjacent hardware store closes at 7pm, but pull out of the lot slowly or you'll scrape your front bumper!
Any burger you get will be fantastic but make sure to finish up your meal with the cake bites, but they are soooo hot inside be careful not to burn your mouth!!
Try the Lumberjack Blucy: a Jucy Lucy with smoked Gouda, thick-cut bacon, and cayenne pepper. It's finished off with a maple syrup glaze on the outside and served naked on a bun. Read more
Someone needs to manage these tables better. Don't seat a three person group in a six person booth when you've got a three top opening up an a party of six waiting.
