- Cassie BoehmOctober 29, 2014I love this restaurant - the scallops are my favorite as well as the french onion soup and the rosemary french fries. I would also recommend sitting outside, the patio is really cute!
- Gigi Smith MantheyJune 4, 2014The walleye and the classique steak are very delicious! Just the right amount of food. Even had room to share the creme brulee. Shannon S. (the waitress) knows her stuff.
- Corey PartinNovember 12, 2016The food is DELICIOUS! Our waiter was amazing, he was really friendly and knowledgeable but not overbearing. The drinks were strong and delicious.
- Haeyoon ChangSeptember 13, 2011It can be pricy but if you stop in later you can do drinks, appetizers, and flatbread for a reasonable price. The fries are one of their more popular items but I like their steak with a flavor boat.
- Robin EdmanApril 12, 2015The food is always interesting. My stepson liked the mac - n - cheese. The beef is always good. I'm a big fan of their salads.
- Stephen KoontzAugust 24, 2014The best French American fusion I've had in theTwin Cities. Outdoor patio is the best on Grand Ave, too
- Two always favorites at Salut are the French Onion soup burger and the Salad Nicoise. Both are consistently lovely 🤤👍🏼
- Daniel HoeffelMay 11, 2016The French soup burger is to die for. Comes with a side of French onion broth, dipping heaven
- Taylor ThomasDecember 29, 2013Get the sherry vinaigrette with your salad; it's so fresh! And the fries and hollandaise are gluttony in the extreme.
- JamieAugust 25, 2013Come early for the lobster thermidor on Saturday nights. It can go fast!... And don't skip the steak tartar!
- Austin WestermannJune 11, 2015The french fries are quite literally to die for! Great spot for a birthday celebration
- Travis WettelandAugust 16, 2012Try the smoking drink! It's delicious & fun to watch it smoke & bubble. PS: Jeremy was a very nice waiter!! :)
- Late night happy hour is terrific only you can't sit on the patio to enjoy it (inside dining only for happy hour specials). Red Velvet cake is the best!
- Natalka HAugust 19, 2012Enjoyed an amazing Greek salad--added shrimp per the server's suggestion, made it!!!!
- Have the French fries. If it's all you do...have the French fries.
- Joanna FlammOctober 15, 2010The fries here come with a gravy boat of cream sauce and they are not messing around. Great outdoor seating area.
- Delicious Croque Monsieur... get it for lunch; can't go wrong!
- Tiffany BlaisdellFebruary 20, 2011The Boursin Burger is to die for, but beware this restaurant can be a bit spendy
- Try a vodka martini and substitute the vermouth with Lillet Blanc. Garnish with a lemon twist.
- Jeremy WangAugust 18, 2009great happy hour - 3-6pm, 10-midnight. $4 drinks (including #1 wine), $3 bar snacks (including mini-burgers)
- Casey NordendaleJune 24, 2012Went for drinks and appetizers. Good service, great patio, good drinks, but sadly terrible food.
- Tuna steak sandwich and red velvet cake are beyond delicious!
- Jonathan SpearMarch 1, 2014Went for drinks so can't say much about the food. Service was pretty poor though. Not in a rush to go back.
- ElissaApril 13, 20109 p.m. Weeknight. Sit in bar. Order red wine. Write 100 ideas in journal or on stack of napkins. Ahhhh.
