If you're a regular commuter and use the daily $1 fee parking area, sign up for EZ rider instead of having to remember your parking # each time. It'll save time + it can be linked to a Clipper Card.
Daily fee parking is often full by 8am weekdays. Empty permit spots open to daily fee parking at 10am. So if you arrive between 8-10am on a weekday, you most likely won't find daily fee parking.
So happy I can take my bike on BART... Much easier for me to get to/from home/work plus its great exercise. I pray this rule stays cause I think there will be a lot more commuters.

First train on the weekends is at 830a, and if you're going to sfo you'll have to change trains at 24th even if you're in a daily citytrain. Silly weekend schedule.

Free parking in garages on weekends! You'll see signs for it AFTER you've paid for parking and walk into the station. The non-garage spots are not owned by BART...
Don't be like the woman who just stopped me in the lot and was aggravated she couldn't get a long-term permit at the station. Buy your airportparking permits in advance at bart.gov.
If you arrive after 7:30am you're better off looking for parking on Dublin side. However, you can't use your BART card - need cash or credit card to pay.
