One of the best Sichuan restaurants in the city. Cold sesame noodles, Dan Dan noodles, cumin lamb, wok tossed chicken and chiles, double cooked pork... All excellent.
Hot & sour soup best I've ever had. Spicy hot & sour cellophane noodles, excellent. Chewy nest of noodles in molten lava broth. Sliced pork belly, delicious.
Raven TAugust 7, 2014Spicy cold noodles (the best I've had in the city) + one entree was enough for 2 hungry people! There was still food leftover. Pretty awesome for a place on this part of Midtown.

The crispy lamb filets are good, but only if you really like cumin.- Usually easiest to get a table at lunch between 11:30 & 12. If you're solo, they might stick you close to other people. Works for me!
Still a hit or miss place but can be pretty good. Saw that they had steamed juicy pork buns. Was a little iffy about ordering them from a szechuan place... they came out frozen on the inside.

Excellent Sichuan - smoked tofu w/ celery, dan dan noodles, cold cucumbers, cumin lamb, tea smoked duck, pork belly with leeks and fish specials are all tasty.
