- Aaron WhitneyJanuary 11, 2011Michael's is f'n amazing. I'm from New Orleans and I have to say that this is the most authentic southern food and atmosphere you'll find in southern Cali.
Apparently under new ownership and their new menu here SUCKS. No more gator or andouille sausage on the menu (which IMO made the place unique and appealing). Bring back the old menu, PLEASE!
The crab cakes are incredible. NFL Sunday Ticket and great specials!

Adam BedfordApril 22, 2010Great Trivia on Wednesday. (Lame Prize though). New Orleans food is "ok". Beignets shaped like Pizzas and when you ask for Jambalaya, they serve you E'Toufee. Nice atmosphere, a little smokey though.

$2 happy hour Bud Lights out on the patio, sitting on comfortable couch and watching sports. That's what I'm talking about.
Everything is actually prepared by an authentic Cuban chef!!!
