    Probably the best sushi in Oakland. The fish is well sourced, from Japan and elsewhere. Go omakase, or stick to nigiri and sashimi, and you won't be disappointed.

    We've been going for years (a dozen?). Nothing fancy, but consistently excellent. No yelling, no absurd rolls. Fresh and well cut.

    The spicy tuna roll I ordered was excellent and the quality of the other fish was very good. Low key and simple but great sushi.

    This is a small, no-frills sushi joint, where the chefs are open to customization. The nigiri hamachi is brilliantly fresh and buttery!
