- Max ZhiltsovJanuary 3, 2015Read that "Philadelphia eats here" and decided to go. Very good place, cool prices and tasty food. Try the Grilled chicken cobb salad with blue cheese, it's awesome!Upvoted Feb 22
- Brian Van NieuwenhovenOctober 28, 2018Diner-style food, a little nicer than average, with an admirable selection of beers (for a place that’s not a craft beer joint). We enjoyed our vegetable capellini & chicken cobb salad
- Paige RachelJanuary 24, 2015Ate here on a Friday night, it wasn't too busy even though we still made a reservation. Cheesesteak wonton appetizer was delicious! Asked to split two plates and they were still big portions!
- Philadelphia MagazineSeptember 12, 2011Don't be afraid to bring your kids! No one will complain! The menu here (featuring the mini version of their nearly famous matzoh ball soup), offers more than your average burger/pizza/chicken nugget. Read more
- Colleen SheaDecember 29, 2016Great place for a casual lunch or dinner with friends lots of healthy and non healthy options to choose from! The 'control freak salad' is everything!
- Jordan PApril 4, 2015the salmon burger with sweet potato fries was one of the best meals I have ever had. definitely will be ordering again.
- Lawrence ChenDecember 27, 2018I used to mix this restaurant with shake shack. Good service that I never expected. The waitress know she should bring salt and pepper together, two straws if you order juice. Pay 20% tip for good.
- You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The Marathon Breakfast is as good as it sounds but do not expect to finish it in one sitting.
- Philadelphia MagazineJanuary 12, 2011The pint-sized happy hour offers a half-off kids menu with options like matzoh ball soup with chicken and veggies and peanut butter and jelly on whole wheat bread. (M-F 5-6PM) Read more
- Philadelphia MagazineDecember 1, 2010Go here for brunch! You'll find eggs on a croissant with bacon, Gouda and apple; whole wheat apple-cinnamon pancakes; and lots and lots of coffee. Read more
- Lynn ArochoApril 13, 2014Try the Marathon Fries. The home fries with everything. Instant addiction for myself and everyone I know who's tried them.
- Greg MaughanOctober 4, 2014Nice simple brunch spot just off Rittenhouse. Good back up plan if Parc is too pricey and Day by Day is full or has a long wait.
- The Rioja wine a rare find. Pay the $10 because it is more interesting than Merlot, Chardonnay, and Pinot.
- Hollie SickJuly 19, 2015Great selection and fresh food. The smoked salmon omelet is delicious. Their coffee is local too!
- Miss MikkiNovember 20, 2013Great atmosphere....try the southwest salad (yummy), only downside is poor customer service from the servers!!!
- Chris McfaddenNovember 21, 2012Like this place. Had the blackened chicken, swapped out the provolone for white cheddar. And it comes with hand cut fries.
- Sherry OJuly 10, 2011The espresso smoothie is delish! The whole wheat banana pancakes were great, as was the bacon, Swiss, tomato omelette. The turkey sausage was a dry, so avoid.
- AndrewOctober 14, 2013Really amazing buffalo chicken sandwich. They include shredded celery and carrots on it!
- Turn over the menu. The front side is good but the back opens up a whole new world.
- Steph ParkerJuly 29, 2011Love a good Bloody Mary? You may be surprised to learn that this Marathon adds the perfect amount of horseradish.
- Laura WongDecember 9, 2014Pretty hipstery place. Good food, great smoothies, service is friendly but a little alow
- Cristina ShipeJanuary 5, 2018The smoked salmon eggs benedict was pretty good. Highly suggest the bloody mary.
- $5 house wine and margaritas for happy hour, but it took forever to get my salad and they gave me the wrong change.
- Ask for Jay. He will definitely take care of you. He's also the drink keeper.
- Ty IsleyJune 12, 2012The banana brioche French toast is amazing. With a side of turkey sausage, such a filling and yummy breakfast.
- Better to go to the Marathon on broad & chestnut street in the morning if you want take out. The morning service @ this location is slow.
- B.J. EllisOctober 16, 2011Be mindful of when they'd charge credit cards. Make sure they do the correct amount. Honest mistake, just be mindful
- Bobby G.May 31, 2014It's called Marathon because you'll want to stay at least 26.2 miles away from this place. Service is slow. Burgers are almost all bun - fries are soggy for what you receive it's overpriced.
- Brendan GallJanuary 23, 2010Get the marathon homefries with ham, peppers, onions, and gruyere. Try subbing cheddar or adding Tabasco for a little extra spice! Bit marathon homefries are delicious!
- It's fine. Lots of salad nuts like the control freak salad. Everything else seems good but not great.
