- Jordan GrosecloseDecember 12, 2014It really doesn't get much better than Stone, they embody craft beer. They don't just serve their own beer, but support other great craft breweries as well! Stone=beer
- @SocialSweet SpotMarch 13, 2014I tried the Arrogant Bastard Brisket, a creation by Chicago Chef Cleetus Friedman. The bartender told me they just reworked their menu. I'd say the brisket was 5 sweet spots out of 10. Give it a try!
- Grab a beer and hang out in the gardens before dinner. Also check what is on cask. It's constantly changing and the brewers create a cask of their own and serve it every Thursday afternoon at 4pm.Upvoted Mar 27
- Karan ShahAugust 17, 2019The front looks like a bit industrial (because the inside is the brewery itself, but they have a great outdoor area and restaurant. You can spend quite a bit of time here. They also do tours!
- Jeremy AnslowFebruary 29, 2020Love this place. Great food and super cool open atmosphere. Very kid friendly in the gardens.
- Seth AndersonFebruary 22, 2019I’m spoiled for great beer in Northern Virginia, but this might be my brewpub Mecca! San Diego is a great city, but I’d happily make the trip from D.C. just to go here!!
- Jeff SpindleOctober 23, 2014Food is good (I especially enjoyed the pretzels and the tikka masala), but you're really here for the beer! Try a flight that includes some IPAs and stouts that you can't find anywhere else!!
- Food WandererJune 8, 2015Pan Fried Tilapia plate comes with a side of roasted asparagus and quinoa. For dessert, we just had to try the Jalapeno blue cheese cheesecake. It wasn't overly sweet.
- Mario CastilloApril 22, 2015If you like the beer, here you can find a lot of different options, wine is in the menu too, the place is beautiful, you can gather on the gardens or inside, great atmosphere but a little expensive!
- Barry BloomMay 4, 2015Tremendous. Like it better than the San Diego version. One of the best steaks I've ever eaten. Organic beef from Wyoming. Incredible taste.
- David ChristopherJuly 7, 2013If you've never had kimchi before, get the wild boar Korean BBQ sandwich. The kimchi is surprisingly gingery & the radish in it has been replaced w/thin-sliced carrots. Nontraditional, but delicious.
- Chris PetersJune 14, 2013Best experience ever! Outdoor seating area gives a good vibe like you were on a mini vacation. Way ahead of their competition by using their own and local organic produce. Definitely a favorite!
- They finally fixed the drainage problems in the outdoor garden area. They also added some new quaint and secluded seating places throughout the gardens. Love this place.
- Lee PlummerFebruary 1, 2013What can you say about Stone Brewery that hasn't already been said? The beer is excellent, if a little alcohol heavy, and the food is wonderful, if a little expensive. Overall, extremely worth it
- Experimental beers are always great and changing. Revamped food menu is much better!
- Ricky PottsNovember 23, 2012They have an impressive beer list, including taps and bottles. Of course, Stone beers are listed first. The ABV is listed as well. Beers 8% ABV or higher are served in 8 ounce glasses.
- deestivFebruary 19, 2015Excellent bistro (get the brussel sprouts & Mac & cheese) and the brewery tour is good too - $3 for tour & tasting, including complimentary tasting glass.
- Bennett KolasinskiJune 8, 2013It's like Willie Wonka'a chocolate factory for grown ups. Can't go wrong here (but get the beery mac n cheese and beery Brussels sprouts on the side of whatever you order.)
- Mike MossDecember 31, 2016Gorgeous place, incredible beer, fantastic food. Run, don't walk. You'll thank me later.
- Christine OverbeckApril 13, 2016Interesting menu. Love the warm pretzel and of course the fabulous beer. Tour the grounds...you will feel like you sre on a wild jungle adventure
- TylerJuly 16, 2014Get there at least an hour early for the summer outdoor movies! And bring a blanket, beer jackets can't always protect against the June/July gloom! Such friendly staff and an awesome event.
- Wild Boar needs extra sauce, Mac & Cheese let me down.. twice.. needs salt and or Bacon.. Peorogis are Bomb.com, pretzels were ok, cheese needs something. Chicken Schnitzel is great!
- Bort RMarch 5, 2013Grab a beer at the bar and sit out by the waterfall or by the firepits in the gardens. Great conversation spots especially at sunset.. you forget where you are
- Louie .August 16, 2014Nicest restaurant/brewery I've been too! Obviously stone has the $$$ to have a place like this. I've had great time and service every time I've been.
- Chris DonnellyJune 6, 2016Great tour and the world's best beer. You can't go wrong with the smoked porter.
- MelissaMay 14, 2013A great place for brunch! Save time after your meal for another beer and a walk through the garden. Then hang at the bar for a bit. Great place.
- SoftubFebruary 20, 2012This is probably one of the highest rated brewing companies in all of California. All organic and local foods and in-house brewed beer! Try their civiche; gets me every time.
- Softub Inc.February 20, 2012This is probably one of the highest rated brewing companies in all of California. All organic and local foods and in-house brewed beer! Try their civiche; gets me every time.
- DanaSeptember 9, 2017With no reservations after 8pm on Sat. They don't take anymore cust. to din in. Said we could sit upstairs, a limited drink menu, wasn't the best service up there. Did get a glass of 🍷. #triggered
- More people would visit if this wasn't treated as a day care center with brats running wild in the garden. Really preferred when it was 21 and up only. All about the money now Stone.
- Scott HoltogOctober 12, 2015For 3 bucks you can get a great brewery tour, 4 4oz beer tastings(16oz total), and you get to keep the glass!
- Daniel BairdJuly 3, 2013Try the Quail Knots - #nom paired with a #ruinten #ipa. These are basically fancy #buffalowings. But they are #spicy and good
- I suggest the Ruination Cheddar Soup with Extra Broccoli Tempura, The Pretzels, The Buffalo Burger, and if course, a few beers. Tip your server, say hi to Greg & Dr. Bill, and check Taphunter.com
- Erin WelchJune 23, 2012Movie night, and other special events are fantastic. Don't just come for dinner. You'll be disappointed, and down too much dinero to make it worth it.
- Rebecca BalnisNovember 22, 2018No trip to the Capital of Craft is complete without a round at Stone Bistro Gardens.
- Joseph PotthastSeptember 19, 2010Try new beers, odds are good they've something you never drank before. Take the beer tour. Visit the gardens. Stay late for the fire on the water. Pretty much everything here is arrogant and awesome.
- Andy ReadJuly 28, 2013You can use open table to make a reservation. This place is busy and delicious so if you don't want to wait do it.
- AliJuly 26, 2010Amazing vegan shepherds pie and vegan panna cotta dessert. I was impressed that a brewery would go out of their way to serve me not only vegan food but damn good food as well. Want to go back!
- Lindsay LongobardiJuly 29, 2015Beautiful. Korean Baby Back Ribs and Charred Brussel Sprouts are amazing! Beer menu is amazing!
- Chloe CanoAugust 28, 2016The tour is great and comes with four beer tastings all for $3! It cant be beat.
- Mike InnerbichlerJuly 17, 2014Food was great and if you are a snob about beer. You will love this place.
- Luis RuizAugust 20, 2014Has great food and awesome brews. The store is amazing and even has hard to find beers.
- Tyler JohnsonMay 16, 2010One of the best brewerys in southern California bar none. Try one of their seasonal offerings on tap and if you're brave, the Arrogent Bastard Ale. You were warned! Also the food is great. Always some
- Jessica LinApril 2, 2013The tour is okay, only three stops but you learn a lot about beer and the brewing process. You get to sample four beers at the end.
- Michael WagnerApril 24, 2010Brewery Tour at Stone Brewing Company is a must do if you enjoy good Stone beers or craft beers in general. An added bonus is you receive samples of four of their most popular beers. Very nice!
- Massage MobileJuly 24, 2013After your brewery tour, or even before, treat yourself to one of the best massage therapy treatments available! We travel to you!
- Bloomingdale'sAugust 18, 2010Here it is, beer-lovers, your moment of Zen: a cobblestone patio filled with bamboo stalks and rock ponds. Sit and quaff one of 32 craft beers on tap or stroll the brook- and fruit tree¬–filled garden
- Anish PatilMay 18, 2014Take the 12 tour and have lunch in their cafe later... Chicken and wild boar sandwich with beer (kombucha for the DD )
- Arrogant Bastard while enjoying a walk around the pond, listening to frogs and enjoying nature ... Wonderful place to be with family or friends!!
