- Jamie LynnSeptember 26, 2014Went here for my birthday dinner. Started with the beet salad, then the rigatoni and ended with the lemon donuts. Delicious from start to finish! They have Mark Ryan's "The Chief" by the glass too!
- KristenelleJune 4, 2017This restaurant has happy hour from 5-7PM every day, and features $5 glasses of wine and $6 wells. They also have a few pasta dishes on the happy hour menu, which are delicious and generously sized.
- Taylor MichieOctober 1, 2017Great food, service, and ambience. Burrata with peaches and shishito peppers a must to start. Everyone raves about rigatoni, but I found the spaghetti with chicken meatballs to be absurdly good.
- Igor PankinDecember 22, 2017Try the Linguine - Some of the best noodles I've had. The clams are extremely well prepared. Some of my all-time favorite linguine, for sure.
- Nate SJune 12, 2018Get here early for an *excellent* happy hour special! Weeknights from 5-7pm at the bar (I snagged the last spot at 5:45pm).
- DylanFebruary 23, 2023Amazing!! I sat at the bar and Jenn the bartender made the experience extremely memorable! I always test bartenders with an old fashion, and she made me the best old fashion I’ve ever had
- KateNovember 3, 2015Came for restaurant week and was pleasantly surprised. Had the gnocchi, ravioli, papardelle, and rigatoni, and they were all freshly made and delicious.
- Richard LoserMarch 31, 2013Some of the best food you can find in Seattle on a happy hour menu. Get there early for happy hour as it fills up quick with limited bar seating.
- RainbeauNovember 1, 2016Chef Ethan Stowell's Italian food is dreamy. If it's too pricey, come in for happy hour, or stop by for a late night dessert.
- Arminda Guillama-RodriguezJune 27, 2012Get the smoked salmon bruschetta if they have it. Everything is seasonal, so it's very fresh (although got an unclear answer from waitress as to whether it was local or not).
- Great happy hour, but only in the bar. Good for normal dinner too, with lots of good bars in the vicinity.
- Everything is delicious! Be sure to share it all family style. It's better that way.
- J.R. ReedMay 16, 2021Good spot for dates even if slightly expensive — rigatoni is the top pasta, but the donuts might steal the show at the end
- Ryan WelshOctober 5, 2012Try the Linguine - Some of the best noodles I've had. The clams are extremely well prepared. Some of my all-time favorite linguine, for sure.
- You can't go wrong with the rigatoni, but all their pasta is good!
- Iislucas DJune 11, 2014Dark and grumpy cocktail, also tigre Verde, both great not too sweet cocktails.
- James TanliaoMay 3, 2015Enjoyed the linguini Nero and their stuffed pastas. Great decor and service.
- Emily CMay 18, 2013Here for dinner but heard if you come for happy hour, same great food for half the price. Oh and get the chicken meatballs.
- Simmi Harsimrat ParmarSeptember 27, 2015They had amazing Ravioli and chicken. Just loved the place!!!
- Nice pasta and comfy place to hang out with friends. Hard to find a parking nearby.
- Justin TangMay 13, 2010Awesome pasta. Also try the chicken liver bruchetta. Favorite Italian in Seattle area! Also try How To Cook A Wolf. Love all of Ethan's restaurants!
- Get a couple salady appetizers, the riggatoni, and a glass of Barbera. I've done it ~50 times and it has never disappointed.
- Steven TrombettaJune 6, 2011Food and Wine here are amazing. If you are in the area, you should visit Tavalota!
- The Seattle TimesMay 26, 2010Don't judge Tavolata by its appearance — instead, wait for its fine rustic food, like this veal carpaccio, of bubble-gum pink meat with olive oil, parsley, Parmigiano-Reggiano and anchovies. Read more
- Vienna CatDecember 16, 2010Definitely plan to share plates... amazing Italian food, definitely a fav in Seattle.
- Tim SextonApril 18, 2019I was underwhelmed by the flavors, even in comparison to when it first opened, especially for the price per dish.
