- Surprised. This was pretty good, will add to the ol' list. Crispy sautéed shrimp tacos lived up to the other reviews, and the classic old cheese quesadilla gave me that greasy cheesy taste you want.
- Mary OrfaliJune 18, 2016Tonights special - chicken torta with chicken, cheese, avocado, pickled onions and jalapeños sounded good but they were out tonight. Will have to try next time they are on the menu.
- Very tasty California-style Mexican. Not as good as Tacubaya in the category, but solid all around. Not super authentic but unique. Crispy tacos, and burritos are standouts.
- Alfajores cookies are good! The crispy tacos are also good but have compensatory cheese. Try asking for avocado slices instead of guacamole if you don't like cilantro.
- Cassandra DunnMarch 18, 2013Order by phone and take out. avoid the line. Crispy chicken tacos are great. As is the Chile Rellano. My guys love the empanadadillas.
- James DangMay 14, 2017Casual place where you order and pay at the counter. Had a scrumptious veggie enchilada.
- This place is always infested with children. They run free without a leash and the parents let them like it's a McDonald's play area! Go after 7:45 for a more "kid free" experience.
- KeithAugust 4, 2017I generally prefer soft tacos, unless I'm here, where the crispy tacos are too good to resist
- Mark BeersJuly 11, 2013Not authentic Mexican - it is really a Southwest style place, but the crispy tacos are the bomb. Great salsa bar too.
- Amie ChenJuly 4, 2017had shrimp burrito that was small but authentic. however, it takes 40min to wait for a take out on a Saturday lunch time.
- Tet SFebruary 24, 2013Their crispy shrimp tacos are awesome. Goes well with a nice, cold Corona or a Negro Modelo.
- Note that the veggie dishes take longer to make as they grill the veggies fresh.
- Courtney R.March 17, 2013Get the fish tacos- so fresh. The extra time it takes to make is worth the wait.
- The Crunchy Shrimp tacos, Salsa de Piña and Alfajores ( to go please!) are worth a trip from SF.
- Marc FloresFebruary 21, 201460% of the patrons in here are screeching children. It is 6:03 p.m. as of this writing on a Thursday night.
- Matt BarackmanJanuary 8, 2010There are inexplicably a ton of kids here around dinner time. Actually, come to think of it they do have a great children's menu, so come with the kids and grab some bocadillos.
- Ajay WaghrayMarch 21, 2011Can't beat the giant burritos here, especially the mole rojo filling. Who knew getting fat could taste so good.
- Noah HayesNovember 4, 2015If you ever want to re-live the feeling of a elementary school cafeteria, this is your place.
- AleesahnFebruary 25, 2010Their daily specials are always worth it. And you need to visit the fresh salsa bar for 6 flavor choices.
- Ali LazarusJune 20, 2010I love the black bean quesadillas with guacamole on the side. Tastes good, inexpensive, and filling.
- Nice, sturdy changing table in their woman's bathroom
- Eat your burrito with a fork and knife Constanza style!
- If you're going at lunch or dinner time, call ahead and pick up to go.
- Brett FisherMay 27, 2014Really just mediocre and usually long waits and lots of kids. I wanted to like this place as it's in my hood but after many attempts just gave up.
- Salsa de Piña I'm addicted!!!! Best salsa I have ever had!!! :)
- Solveig PedersonAugust 25, 2009any of the camarones dishes (burrito, taco) plus the yummy pineapple salsa. doesn't feel odd to eat alone here.
- Tessa CoxMay 24, 2012Didnt live up to the hype, the fish burrito wasn't very fresh tasting. Looks very popular, tho, so... Go for the "cred," but not the food.
