Located in a majestic rowhouse with an ornate marble fireplace in one room, mismatched furniture in another, and a dungeon-like downstairs pub, The Brewer’s Art is heaven for beer drinkers. Read more

You can't go wrong with this place! Make sure you check out downstairs, too, and you have to go with a Rezzy (Resurrection), their most popular, abbey-style ale. Oh and the French fries are a MUST!

The downstairs is like a cave and best for friends, upstairs is better for a date. Rosemary garlic fries are super + there's almost always a new beer to try. Groups can schedule a tour of the brewery.

This is the first place I stop every time I'm in Baltimore. Three places to enjoy amazing food bevs: kewel bar, downstairs grotto, and swanky nice upstairs dinning room. You MUST have a Resurrection!

Baltimore's Best Bars 2013: "Brewer’s Art serves delicious, brewed-in-house Belgian ales both upstairs (a classy, well-lit area) and downstairs (a dark dungeon by comparison)." http://bsun.md/1clMXzv

This is the best bar in Baltimore. Friendly, quick staff, good food and great ambiance. Be sure to say "hi" to Beasley (Bartender and Brewer's fixture) and bring your favorite conversationalists!

The veggie Muffaleta was the highlight of my day in Baltimore. Absolutely delicious. The staff was amazing, too. Sweet, welcoming. Exactly what I needed.

Grab some delicious bites like Rosemary Garlic Fries and Baked Mac-n-Cheese to go with the great selection of beers.

The French fries ARE excellent but honestly, so is most of the food. Just get the right beer for the right foods!

A must stop when in Mount Vernon. The upstairs is upscale & amazing. The basement is gritty yet welcoming & they were playing great ol skool hip hop during my late nite visit.

The mac and cheese is fantastic. Some of the best I've had. I also really love the burger and beef tartare tartine.

Great local brews and some unique food. Restaurant on top but 'dive' in the basement. Basement gets crowded by early evenings, esp. on Fri/Sat. Check out their seasonal/special brews.

The upstairs bar/restaurant is beautiful and classy-feeling while the basement bar is dark and homey, but both serve excellent beer and food. Especially the food.

Resurrection. Dine upstairs or downstairs- two very different atmospheres. Love happy hours in the front bar area with the windows. Get there early to grab a seat.

Knew the beer was going to be good (green peppercorn tripel, you're my new best friend), but our dinner was actually pretty excellent also. Elk tenderloin? Yeah, I can get on board with that.

If you're in the basement, drink a craft beer and get Rosemary fries. Upstairs; get a steak! One of the top bars in Baltimore.

Join us for drinks at this neighborhood bar & restaurant on Friday night, an easy walk from the hotel. We'll have a small rehearsal dinner upstairs, join us downstairs in the lounge when you can.

The bar food is unbelievable, and way cheaper than the proper restaurant food. Just order at the bar, either upstairs or downstairs. Garlic fries are a must.

Chili Dog is outrageously good sober and heavenly when you're not. If you're dining, shoot for upstairs. Basement is often standing room, but you won't mind. House brews are a must.

Ranked at the top of Esquire mag’s “best bars” poll Brewer’s Art is currently #3 on the list! After eating upstairs, grab a “resurrection” downstairs. It has an eerily cool “dungeon” feel
