Naveen & I built 1/2 of the foursquare prototype here (mostly at the back table near the bathroom). The "mayor" feature in 4SQ came from our buddy Chad making fun of us for camping at that table :)

Excellent huge space that's great for working & plenty of coffee/snack options. Seats in the front get a lot of natural light & the back is fairly dark, so you can choose whatever is best for you.

Can definitely get crowded at times (it’s right on NYU campus) but it’s a great (and pretty roomy) place to meet someone for coffee or get some studying done! Try the Iced Matcha with Oat milk!

This is my favorite cafe in the world, the vibe has a community feel. Other than the fantastic addictive coffee, it’s a place you can hang out and work, read, play board games, people watch

This spot boasts a large space, filled with seating and tables and free wifi, perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee, or getting work done. Not a coffee drinker, but the iced tea was delicious.

One of the best coffee shops in the village to grab a table and work with your laptop. Open late. Has enough ambient noise and background music to reset your brain when you need to.

Very spacious, friendly staff, and above all else good coffee. Usually crowded during the academic year but stop by during the holidays or summer for a cozy break.

Lets admit it folks Think coffee is a life style. After I grab my book from strand I like finding a nice round table close to window for some people watching besides I adore their coconut-carrot cake.

Cozy, lots of seating. Went on a Friday night and it wasn't busy at all. Had a great cup of tea in a massive mug, and the barista was real friendly. Music could have been a bit more mellow.

Best hang of Think's 5-shop mini-chain. Each cafe has a different design + ambience. On Mercer Street, it's roomy; seating includes sofas w/coffee tables + banquettes. Wi-Fi. (Orig. review 10/23/11)

In Cyprus I was introduced to the world of Frappe and did tastings tests with canned coffees. I developed an acceptance and liking for coffee in their cold state. Before then, coffee had to be hot.

Insanity of the NYU variety, but with a great vibe. Solid lunch options, great environment with Washington Square Park right outside for walking meetings.

If you want to sip your caffeine with style, order a medium latte, small cappuccino, or single espresso to get it in a porcelain cup.

One of those great New York City discoveries lies beneath Think Coffee's Mercer Street shop: a free, weekly coffee tasting, Fridays at 2 p.m. Upstairs, try single-origin El Salvador Pacamara coffee.

Usually crowded, but the turnover is high enough that it's not too hard to snag a seat (if not a table). Wifi can be spotty, but great place to get your creative and entrepreneurial juices flowing.

Get the Brasil single-origin drip coffee. Completely different flavor - kind of sweet and rich and nutty all at the same time. Great way to start the day.
