- They claim to have invented the French dip. Get the beef with blue cheese, double dipped. The salads; coleslaw, macaroni, potato are all delicious as well.
- I have been a customer for fifty-five years, and it's always a treat to dine here. The other customers are a melting pot of different ages and clothing styles. The ladies are visitors from Taiwan.
- I love Philippes and have been going there for 50+ years but I've came to the point where I think they've out priced me. 2 Sandwichs was $16.00 plus. Out of my price range living on a budget
