If you’re looking for less fancy and more authentic Vietnamese, this is your spot. We loved the Phở Tái (Rare Beef Noodle Soup) and the Xôi Gà (Sticky Rice with Chicken). Don’t miss the Iced Coffee.

Raw beef pho (#2) with chicken broth and 1/2 the noodles is my jam. Best nourishing broth without all the MSG that is rampant in most vietnamese restaurants. Keep an open mind about the northern style

Soups, such as beef stewed in wine sauce ($6.50/$8), aren't as exciting, but the sticky rice with Chinese sausage ($7) and banh mi ($4.75) are excellent. Read more

I love vermicelli bowls but here you can only get them with egg rolls and a side of pork or vice versa. This ends up costing you $20! The pho looked better.

Stick with the chicken pho, it's what they specialize in. Ask for jalapenos, mix in fish sauce as dipping sauce. For the chicken ask for lemon sauce. You will then experience mouth heaven.

Get the pho ga if there's no line. If there's a line go next door to Pho 2000 and get their bun rieu.

I dislike seafood. I understand that pho has a small amount of fish sauce, but this was crazy. Pho tai was so fishy I had to stop half way into the bowl. Beware, pho here is for seafood lovers only...
