- Becky BouwmanSeptember 28, 2012Best mochas/lattes I've ever tried! Also, the quiche and breakfast sandwiches are heavenly! The bakery items will have to wait until next time, but they looked very fresh and were hard to pass up!
- I love the mocha. Saturday food items can be ordered without the sides, though they don't make that easy to know. But with sides that good, why would you go a la carte?
- Heavy TableMarch 16, 2012The mocha is a velvety mugful of house-made chocolate, espresso, and milk with a little chocolate bar balanced on the brim. Also, don’t miss the caramel roll. Warmed, of course. Read more
- City PagesMarch 4, 2013Delightfully gooey, cinnamon-scented, nut-encrusted cinnamon rolls for the kids - then let them play by the fountain while you slurp ginormous cups of coffee.
- Rene MyersOctober 12, 2013I got a box lunch to go and it was yummy. Roast beef and provolone, pesto spread, toasted ciabatta. Chips, pickle, shortbread. All yummy.
- Darshy NAugust 11, 2011You can't get anything bad here, but I've been stuck on quiches and cobblers for brunch for a while now. Also, cubano is the way to go (w/ that piece of dark chocolate)
- Metropolitan State UniversityMarch 6, 2012The self-proclaimed best mocha in the Twin Cities, MN. Close spot to campus for coffee & food, but they fill up early and often!
- Delicious scones. My favorite is ham & cheese, but nothing beats buttermilk with coffee!
- Best white chocolate mocha in the metro! But crappy hours they're only open from like 11am-3pm mon thru thurs or something like that
- Jessica TalleyJune 19, 2012Super friendly folk- gave me a scone on the house when I showed up late in the day!
- Michael MayApril 16, 2013The little piece of chocolate that comes with the mocha is seriously the best chocolate ever.
- Chase MaxwellOctober 22, 2015The espresso here is terrible and the pastries mediocre. I can't speak to the quality of the food, but I'm perplexed this place is rated #1 for coffee in St Paul.
- You can't get your card punched if you get iced tea, so plan accordingly.
- They really do have the best hot mocha around. Try it soon.
- Enjoy the terraced garden seating in the full bloom of spring!
- Nancy CerkvenikJanuary 16, 2010Sweed makes the best cobbler! They make it fresh, in house, around 10:00am
- Someone posted a tip that their hours are crappy. It is true they are closed Sundays but they open at 6:30am m-f
- Jen PrestegaardMarch 17, 2009Dayton's Bluff. Best place to waste away a morning with the locals getting caffeinated and gobbling quiches, cinnamon rolls and cobblers, oh my!
