- O MOctober 21, 2016Amazing place! I don't understand such a low rating, the healthiest place around!!! Great environment, lovely kind people. Please visit it, even if you aren't vegan you will enjoy it I promise.
- AlexandraJune 13, 2015Perfect place for a date! It's dark inside with live music. The food is amazing, too. Even my boyfriend (who eats meat and dairy) said he loved our dinner.
- Mia VegaSeptember 26, 2015Everything in the menu is absolutely delicious. Must try Seitan nachos, the burritos or the Cuban delight for brunch. They also have a mojito,so good. 5 stars
- Kelsey CookNovember 27, 2013Really extensive menu...lots of vegan, raw and gluten free options...had a hard time deciding what to get. The Green Garden Platter was good...the polenta in this dish was on point.
- Emma HoffmanNovember 1, 2016Really friendly service, delicious food - so many good healthy, interesting options, lovely ambiance. ✨🌹❤️
- JM ParveauxNovember 23, 2014The tricolor pasta is one of my favorites, but pretty much everything else I tried was excellent. The beet ravioli was a great surprise too!
- any salad, any raw entree, I go there just for the smoked eggplant spread on the "living bread" which we can consider in the future.
- smelf2July 5, 2013This place was recommended to me by friend & it didn't disappoint at all. Great food, especially the nachos :-D
- Elaine LeeJune 23, 2012Their dehydrated live nachos + coconut soup are to die for! Zucchini And Yellow Squash Spaghetti didn't really hit the spot for me coz I like my noodles chewy.
- Awesome raw hummus platter, try the spaghetti and meatballs (raw also), and leave room for dessert. Not the best in the world but thoroughly guilt-free. The service is not their strength
- Meg GNovember 11, 2018They have raw bread! They have everything whole food oriented. Can’t believe it took me so long to find!!
- NikkiJuly 6, 2012The service is slow but the food is exquisite. Try the Caravan Burrito for some guacamole to die for, and the vegan crêpe for desert.
- Erik FinsrudAugust 27, 2014Pricey but worth it. Sample platter is tasty, nachos come with tons of fresh guac.
- Melanie SilveraOctober 28, 2014Great, healthy options. Free trade coffee in French press does hit the spot (expect to pay more)
- NY Mets Katie ❤️⚾️✈️August 26, 2012Definitely good food and a wonderful atmosphere. I would choose Sacred Chow over this place due to pricing, however. Great date spot.
- Matthew RathboneAugust 3, 2011I'm not vegan but I like this place a lot. I like the Mediterranean brunch, it's good value (compared to most things) and super tasty.
- VirtuallyVeganFebruary 8, 2015Ordered from here one time and was put off by the smell/texture of the food, but looking forward to going to the restaurant properly because delivery isn't the best representation of food!
- AliciaMarch 4, 2014Try the French Toast - #vegan with a strong orange flavor and made-in-house "nutella"
- Leah KelleyAugust 7, 2011Must get the seitan nachos and the taquitos!! Both are exceptional and have pretty large portions for a vegan place.
- Kelly mclaughlinNovember 11, 2010Eat brunch here. Get the sangria. Check out the fact that they load the paper towel dispenser with freshly laundered washcloth hand towels. Appreciate not being rushed out the door.
- Gagan RanaMarch 30, 2013If you want good vegan food in E Village, go to Lan Cafe for bombtacular vegan Bahn mi sandwiches
- Mohamed RDecember 24, 2011If you're a vegetarian, you'd love this place. I'm not but my friends who are thought it was one of the best!
- Institute for Integrative NutritionSeptember 12, 2011A great healthy restaurant all Fall IINto Action conference participants should try! Check out our NYC healthy restaurants guide for more info. Read more
- Hayley MagyarMay 16, 2015Loved the decor. My French toast was very disappointing - dry and small and not many toppings. However my boyfriends meal (potato pancakes) were really good! Waitress was unfriendly though. 5/10
- Delicious organic, vegan, kosher place. A bit pricey, but so tasty and a very cool vibe!
- Marisa Miller WolfsonFebruary 20, 2011They used to have a side of kale on the menu that is out of this world. They'll still make it if you ask!
- Jorge OrtizJune 23, 2012Skip the wine. It was practically time for dessert by the time it arrived, and the bottle was six years younger than what was listed on the menu.
- Leanne ZOctober 10, 2017Got the quesadilla and my date got nachos. Honestly wanted to like it but wasn't my favorite. Not a big fan of fake meats...
- DR MonoreApril 9, 2014I was disappointed when the waiter told me the spelt pancakes couldn't be made without soy milk. I don't eat soy, he said the chef was too busy to accommodate me with the restaurant being half empty.
- Parul BatraMarch 30, 2013Overpriced average/poor tasting food. We tried the dishes most recommended on four square (sriram taqueritas) yet did not enjoy them. And I am vegetarian!
- AriApril 4, 2015The paella was good. But for a place that specializes in Veggie/vegan food I expected better quality
- Stephen UsherMarch 17, 2013The food is good but overpriced for the portions. The service is unbelievably slow. I actually thought the server forgot one of our dishes with how long it took.
- FraidyJanuary 16, 2011Interesting observation: all the food suggestions in the tips are no longer on the menu.
