- Stuart RosenbergJanuary 3, 2015Great music club on Bourbon. Not for those looking for cheap cover pop music to go w/ your Hurricane. This is maybe the only bona fide place to just hear good, old school jazz.
- Natalie DumontApril 24, 2017This is a tiny bar with mind boggling jazz. It was completely packed for a reason when we went there. If you love jazz you must check it out!
- David BFebruary 5, 2022Jazz in the afternoon. Walking the quarter and thought spicy bloody mary would refresh (as one does in Vieux Carre). Knowing jazz was great, the mary was spicy, and did I say the jazz damn sure was.
- Andrew CJuly 11, 2018Like many venues, this small bar/pub has live music - usually an amazing jazz band... they took requests, chatted with the crowd, all very personable!!! No cover, but ya must order at least one drink
- Fabian MartinAugust 1, 2022Absolutely amazing!! Had a great time here. The music was exactly what I had hoped for
- Henrique XavierDecember 6, 2016Great ambiance, live and lively jazz music! No dancing, though. No cover, they ask one drink per set. Usually the seats get taken quickly.
- GusMay 9, 2017Awesome jazz! Looks like a traditional german jazz club! Grab a drink and sit in the first row!
- Bokyung ParkAugust 14, 2022It was a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. It’s an excellent place to enjoy authentic New Orleans-style jazz.
- Jessica LewisMay 25, 2016I could have stayed here all night. Incredible music and awesome atmosphere. Friendly staff and good drinks!
- Men's Health MagNovember 15, 2011The entertainment is so good it can play to a mellowed crowd, calming even the most rowdy of residents. Here? A live European jazz band. Order a liter of beer, you’ll be here a while.
- Ellen PetitOctober 29, 2015The cutest little place, exactly what I want out of a jazz bar! Not cheap though, but then again, no cover.
- Paula FreireDecember 21, 2013Very good coktails and awesome jazz music! Try the Hurricane and, if you can't drink alcohol, order the Bayou Cooler: it's delicious!
- JarrodNovember 16, 2013Great Jazz found by surprise. Get there when the Shotgun Jazz Band are playing. They are great!! Drinks were quite good.
- Great jazz, eclectic feel and absinthe makes for a great bar.
- Sean RourkeOctober 6, 2014Not sure about the "jazz club" meets German taproom, but the music was great.
- Megan PulliamMarch 4, 2014Pricey drinks but fun atmosphere. Did we hve fun TOTALLY. Did we pay 14 dollars for a Long Island...yeah
- Nik BrowningApril 26, 2013No cover. 1 drink min. Great band. Great drinks, although not the cheapest. ($11 hurricane) Great Atmosphere.
- Álex L.December 10, 2012Music is great! A little pricy. Service almost ruined it. If you hate being a waitress, don't be a waitress. It's worth it though.
- Fritzels is a great respite from the craziness of Bourbon Street. Pay the super cheap cover and enter a world of foot tapping old-school jazz. They sell take out drinks but you'll want to stay.
- Erin ProudfootApril 14, 2013One of the few true jazz clubs left on Bourbon Street. Arrive on time to get a seat.
- Tera WalkerJuly 15, 2012Alen Broom, Mike, Richard, and Brian are amazing jazz artists! They don't just recreate the good ol' days of jazz...they make it current!
- David BFebruary 4, 2022Sitting at the bar is fine, but move to the ringside to get your socks wet - as we say in NOLA.
- banafsheh ghassemiDecember 10, 2012Great atmosphere; great music. Classy oasis in the seedy chaos that is Bourbon Street.
- Caitlin CashMarch 22, 2011Try the N'Awlins Golden Ale. Sure it's expensive but your cover is included in the drink price. Great beer and great jazz!
- Teri CardenAugust 16, 2012Get a front row seat! You won't be disappointed! Love this place and unlike any other in NOLA!
- Chris JoffrionNovember 17, 2011This is a must visit spot while you are in New Orleans. The live jazz is A-mazing!!!
- Steve LagasseAugust 27, 2012Bare jäger & Warsteiner and awesome Dixie Land NOLA jazz, cannot go wrong here
- Sushil RajaDecember 27, 2011The sets are really short and there is a Drink minimum. The staff is fairly misleading about all of this though the music is good.
- Scott HendisonApril 26, 2013try to enjoy the music and the atmosphere, even though the waitresses are all total bitches. they're not happy that you're here, they don't thank you or seem to give a crap after you tip them.
- Emmanuel HerreroApril 11, 2010If Preservation Hall is not of your "thing," but you still want to listen to some jazz. Walk to Bourbon(... It's ok in this case) and up a few blocks to find this gem in the rough. (1 Drink Min.)
- Tassia BezdekaFebruary 12, 2012GO HERE. The music is worth the smoke inhalation and lackluster drink prices.
- John PalmerMarch 10, 2013Good glorious jazz. And I was just at the Spotted Cat...which has nothing on this place.
