Cool local neighborhood spot with heavy pours, pool table, and keg-tables for groups & parties! Inexpensive to boot!

The Tenderloin is still home to a high concentration of the city's remaining tried-and-true dive bars, and this is one of them. The drinks are stiff, cheap, and recognizable to your grandparents. Read more

    Been here 100+ times
Great neighborhood bar with rad beer + shot deals. They have TVs, but the staff is more entertaining. No fees on the ATM.

Dive bar with a 1940's vibe and a photo booth made from a wooden phone booth. photomatica.com

Ask Rick about the history of the bar and the origin of the name Ha Ra. Also, don't order anything newfangled like red bull or flavored vodka, because they don't serve it. ;-)

Grab a seat at the far end of the bar, within earshot of the famouslycolorful keep. It's the cheapest form of entertainment this city has tooffer.

Wouldn't call this a dive bar by any means as it looks like it's been recently remodeled.. Kind of a bro vibe but all in all not too bad

Sad that surly Carl is gone. The newer bartender seems to be more passive aggressive. Still a fun place to wind up for some late night pool.

Red headed bartender with pony tail can come off as rude. Really rude. But I'm going to give him the benefit and assume he's just really really dry. $4.25 drafts. What?

I would not classify this establishment as a "club".

Play 5 songs on the jukebox without making Carl angry. Do not play any Dylan or Cash.
